Christmas 2010

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to the Thanxgiving Point Theatre and watched Narnia 3 with Chris's family. We ran into Steve and Bobby's families. What a couencedence to run into the extended family like that. Then Chris and went home and watched The Muppets Christmas Carol. After that I went to our bed room to watch Lie to Me and get ready for bed awhile Chris played Madden 11. When he finished we went to bed.
Christmas Day

On Christmas day i woke up at to go to the bathroom but when i got in bed i knew that Chris was already awake and that he wouldnt be able to go back to sleep. So we got up and opened our presents. Chris got me a very nice camera and a camera stand because I want to get into photography. He also got me supernatural season 5 and new make-up. Chris got 3 Xbox games, Assasins Creed 1 & 2, as well as Prince of Persia. He also got workout shoes and a workout bag. My amazing parents got us the softest blanket ever, some cloths, and a cute qoute in a frame.
At 3 we went to Steve and Junes house for the Williamson party. The food was fantastic and it was so nice to see the family. After that we headed to my parents house, they were in AZ to see the Cowboys game for Christmas but we watched Knight and Day on the theatre and played Assasins Creed all night. We ended up spending the night there.

Thanxgiving

Chris played tackle football with his high school buddys. They played across the street from his parents house at the park. They played 2 hours straight and nobody got hurt so its a good year. Chris had just got me my camera for Christmas but he let me use it to take some pictures. They also played the week after that and I got some good pictures then too! We went up and visited my parents for awhile then went back to Chris's parents and had a wonderful diner. It was so yummy! What a great Thanxgiving!

Our 1rst Anniversary

At 4:30 Chris took me to diner at Red Lobster. I wore my black and purple/pink dress, and Chris wore a black button up shirt that he just looks so handsome in. The food was great and so was my date! ;) Then we went home and watched "how to train your dragon". It is such a cute movie. We also played Halo together! After that... its just details that you wouldnt care about... but it was also fun! ;)

Our Familes Missionary

My sister Ranae is getting ready to leave on her mission to Rosario, Argentina. Her farewell talk was on Oct. 31 along with my cousin Jordans, who is going to Everett, Washington. We had a surprise going away party for Ranae on Nov. 15! It was neat to see how many people came and supported her. There was people from the singles ward, from the home ward, family, and friends. It was great! The next day Ranae was getting set apart, that was also amazing to be there for. Ranae is going to be a wonderful missionary. Chris and I spent the night at my parents house because Ranae was going to be leaving to the MTC the next day at 1:30! Me, Ranae, my mom, and my aunt wendy stayed up till 11:30 watching "the Frog Princess" and playing phase 10. In the morning I woke up, everyone was asleep except Ranae. So we starting to talk about things mostly church related. When I brought up a few things about the church that kinda bothered me. I started to cry as she told me how she felt and I asked my questions. Then my mom came and tried to help, then my dad came and also tried to help. It was very comforting to hear all of the point of veiws from people who feel the same way as I do. I know that ranae is going to be an amazing missionary. For lunch we went to Brick Oven. It was a really nice place. Looking back I knew I was sad about Ranae leaving but I didnt want to face the fact. So I pretended like it was another day with the family. We ate and then took Ranae to the MTC! We mostly just dropped her off on the curb and gave her hugs said bye and left. I acted fine the rest of the day till I as laying in bed thinking about all of the fun memories with my sister and I just couldn't stop crying. I miss Ranae, but I know that she is were she needs to be!
We have two other missionaries out right now. My cousin Jordan left on Nov. 10 to the Everett, Washington mission. We also have Chris's cousin Eric who is on a mission as well.

A Stock was born

Stockton's football team made it to the play offs! They were undeafeted! They just had to beat 2 more teams to win the play offs! The first game of the play offs Stockton made 4 touch downs and the team won. It was a great game. The team had a harder 2nd game though. Stockton was a little upset because he only made one touch down out of 2! They still won and I think that Stockton played amazing expecially because he had been playing with a bruised heel for about a month. Stockton is #27 on the Westlake Thunder!

BYU game

Chris and I went to a BYU game with ourfriends Rj and Katie Caseys. They are super cool and we love hanging out with them. The BYU game was a blast. We were worried that the weather was going to stink but the weather turned out to be very nice, it was even a little hot. Even the game was great! BYU totally creamed UNLV! The score was 55 to 7!

The Cabin

Last weekend we went up to Austins families cabin. The first day that we were up there dad kept telling Josh to be very careful on the fourwheelers. He also teased him that he wouldnt take him to the hospitle if he crashed. We told dad not to be so paranoid about Josh, he would do just fine. 15 minutes later Josh walked into the cabin with a white shirt covered with blood because he used it to stop the bleeding. His leg was cut pretty bad from running into a barbed wire fence. Tara cleaned him up and thank goodness he was all right. If you look closly you can see 2 holes that went clean into his skin. The second day we went home with Tara and Austin who had to go to work so that Chris could play football and I would get to watch. It was the champion ship games for ward flag FB and so far our team is undefeated. Chris had 2 games and they won them both. We went back up to the cabin in time to see the results of a mud fight between Jenni, Cordell, Emma and Cassie. They watched up and got ready to go home. That night Jenni, Cordell, mom, Josh and Cassie went home so it was just Emma, dad, Austin, Tara, Chris, and I there. oh and Molly, Austins dog. Tara and Austin rode the fourwheelers out to let the family that was leaving go but on their way back the fourwheeler ran out of gas so they had to push it all the way back. We went out of town got milk shakes and got gas for the four wheelers and for the rest of the day we mostly rode the fourwheeler, watched 2 football games, and ate food. The third day we went on a family walk down to the river. It was very gorgeous up there. All the trees were either red yellow or orange. We spent some time at the river and on our way up we feed the horses. When we got back we watched more football games and lounged around. Untill about 3:30 we started cleanin up to go back home. We had so much fun and it was nice to take a break from everything else. Just being with the family was great too.

Lagoon

Going to lagoon has always been one of my dream dates and now we are finally going. We started on a fun but easy ride, "the white roller coster". After that we did the "Spider" and the "Collosis". Not going to lie i was a little nervous about the next one. We went on "wicked". I knew that once I went on it I would love it but there is something about the first time for me thats hard. But like I said I went on it and I loved it. At this point though Chris was feeling alittle sick. He loves the rides but we think that he has motion sickness because he just get really dizzy. So we took it easy for awhile going on things like the sky ride, and the haunted houses. We also had a yummy lunch that we had brought from home. We also went on the log ride and the rattle snake rapids. We both really enjoyed the rattle snake rapids. We got one raft all to ourselfs, which was really nice. Chris kept moving around so that I would get splashed with water, so I would move around to avoid that water. When we came to the waterfall we were facing so that I would get drenched. I tried to move but Chris woudn't get out of my way. It turned into a battle of how much he wanted me wet vs how much I didn't want to get wet. We both kinda won and lost because i only got wet on my left leg. Thank goodness it was the side that didn't have my phone in it's pocket. When it happened there was a old couple watching from the side who were laughing at our battle. We decided to give a ride another try so we went on the tidle wave, but it was to much. Lucky for the people infront of us Chris didn't puck on them. So for the rest of the time we went on the chu- chu train. I was actually very imprest with it. They had some awesome animals and you could see them pretty up close. We really liked that one. I was a little bummed because I wanted to go on my favorite ride, "the samuri" but I didn't want to go by myself or make Chris wait so we rode the sky line one more time and then headed home. It was a wonderful date, and I just enjoyed spending time with the love of my life. It is nice to be able to do something that we enjoy together. Plus we went and got diner at Arbys after wards, neither of us had been there for awhile.

callings

Chris and I have a calling together. We are teachers for the 6 and 7 year olds. So far the girls are very sweet and the boys... well lets just say that they LOVE starwars. It is really nice to be working with Chris I just wish we still had the 3 year olds. They were so cute and such sweethearts, I miss them a lot. I know this is were we are supposed to be though. I am excited to see how things play out.

My 19th Birthday

Chris picked me up for work because it was his day off. He asked me if we could just go to the stor and get me something for my birthday because he didnt have time to do anything for me because he had to much homework. I was alil bummed but I understood so I said yes. We got home and when I opened the door and the dinning room was all decorated with streamers, flowers on the table, confetti, 2 cup cakes, and 2 rapped presents. My heart skipped, it was so cute, i couldnt stop smiling. It made my day to see how much time of thought Chris had put into something for me. He is so amazing, I am such a lucky girl. For my birthday he got me a new ipod (mine doesnt work unless its plugged into my player), a full outfit, a swimming suit (bikini ;)), and a key chain that says LOVE. Then we spent the rest of the evening together.

Carmen B. Pingree school for children with autism

I now work at a school called Carmen B. Pingree. Chris and I both work here at the school. Chris works with the elementary kids and I work with the preschool kids. It is the best job ever, there is never a dull moment.
June 2, 2010

You have to have alot of patients sometimes, we have sessions with the kids were we teach the kids what they need to work on in different areas. Sessions can be hard if they don't want to work. Sometimes its feels a lot like babysitting because there is diaper changing, and disciplining but we also get to do fun things with the kids. In my class we have done things like water day, feild trip to look at birds, painting, ext. Chris's class has gone to the dollar theatre, walks to get slushies, bounce gym, ext. So all the hard work pays off when we get to play with the cute kids.

Right now we dont have school so a lot of the time it doesn't really feel like we are working at all. We get to color, cut, take pictures, things like that that you wouldn't think of as work. My class room's theme is a jungle. I am so excited, we have a pet snake named Charles. Chris's class room isn't finished being built so we have no idea what is going to happen in the next few weeks. His classrooms theme is from the "brown bear, brown bear" book.
August 3, 2010

We have now been working here for 7 months, this job is amazing. It is emotionaly and physically draining but we love the kids. We have both gotten to know the kids in eachothers classes. They are all so much fun. One of the kids in my class is moving out. It is so sad and he will definitly be missed. Work as been hard money wise, the 2 week break kinda set us back plus we have been having car problems one after another lately but we will be just fine.

Up date

Things were still bad at Firehouse. I was still clocking in and off all day if I even went in at all. I have been doing a lot of job hunting and I finally got one. I am now an employee of Cowabunga Bay. I am a ride attendant, I get to tell kids when to go down the slide, and occasionally blow a whistle. I'm pretty excited. Now that I have a job Chris wants to look for one too that is a little closer to home. We are saving gas because I can walk to work but it would save more, plus he is getting sick of driving around all day. Who can blame him? I also went into this school that works with kids that have autism. I am going to try to work there for when the summer is over. The park closes after the summer so I will need a new job, and working with special needs is what I want to go into for my career anyway.

Baseball

For Memorial Day weekend Chris and I went to hang out with my family. We spent Sunday night at their house. We didn't pump our air mattress up all the way so we sadly didn't get a good night sleep. The next day we went with them to see The Prince of Persia. It was a pretty good move, Chris really liked it. He used to play the video game when he was little. We got back went to grandma's house and had lunch. So yummy!!! :P Then....LET THE GAMES BEGIN.
The family was split into 2 teams and we played against eachother. Poor Sarah though... Chris hit the ball and it went toward Sarah she tried to catch it and it bounced and hit her in the face. She is a tuff girl though, she shock it off. Some people could hit really far, we were worried one of our cars was going to get hit by the ball too. It was tonz of fun, everyone was messing with eachother and stuff. My mom was picking up third pass and running away with it so we couldn't get on it. Chris said that he wasn't good but low and behind he could hit and catch. Our team won! It was 20 something to something teen. What a great game!

OUCH!!!

I was trying to make some pizza for diner. I was pulling the pizza out of the oven, I grabbed it with both hands but carried it with one so that i could slide in the oven and close it. When I was doing that the tray leaned towards me and burnt my arm. It hurt way bad, it was stinging. I put it under warm water and put a band-aid with neosporine on it. The next day it was a big bubble. That didn't last long, that day the bubble got ripped off. So now it is red and.....I don't want to say green, thats gross, but it pretty much is green.

Dating

We love going on dates together. We try to go on one once a week. A lot of the time we will do a double on Friday or Saturday and which ever one we don't have it on we do another date just the two of us. Some of my favorite dates was when we went on a walk together around or apartment. The other day we just walked around the mall and looked at things. That was lots of fun. We also have a few board games that we play together. Movies are always fun too. Going out to see movies is nice. We went on saw Robbinhood a few weeks ago.
We like going on double dates with Margaret and Tyson Johnson. We went ice skating with them. It was pretty funny because Chris and I caught on really fast, with Tyson and Marg on the other hand were going pretty slow and holding onto the wall for awhile. Chris and I were even trying to do some tricks.
We have also gone to Boondocks with them. We got a discount because it was D.A.R.E. day. We did lazer tag, golf, and race cars. It was so funny because Chris and Tyson kept saying how they were going to ram Me and Margaret. We went on the same one awhile Chris and Tyson got their own. When it started Tyson caught up to us pretty fast, so we rammed him into the wall until he sped up past us. Then Margaret looked back and saw Chris behind us. We were both freaking out cause we thought that they planned to trap us and sandwich us or something. We were both screaming and trying to go faster. Later we found out that Chris just got a really slow one and Tyson got a really fast one so it wasn't planned at all.
We like to hang out with Stephanie and Jeremy Dowse if we can ever get a hold of them. They are always busy and when their not we are. Just bad schedules i guess. Anyway we have gone swing dancing with them, which was a lot of fun. Jer taught us some cool lifts to do. It's hard to tell you about it, we would have to show you.
We have been on lots of other dates but they don't really have stories to go with them so I will leave I wouldn't bore you but we love our fun date buddies.

California Vacation

Chris and I went on a vacation to California to visit his mission. I got to meet some of the people that Chris knew and taught on his mission. We stayed at the Goodbars house, they were converts of his. We left our house at 5 and got to their house at 1. After we got all packed the Goodbar's took us to a restaurant called Ruddy's. It was a restaurant at the end of the dock so you could see a beautiful view of the ocean. We slept in Ronnie's room, who is 10 years old, and very hyper.
The next day was Sunday so for church we went to the Tongan ward. I loved it! The people were so nice, when they sang they sang as if there was twice as many people in the room then there really was. When sacrament was over the bishop came over to talk to us. He had a lae on but he gave it to me. All the girls told me how lucky I was and all the guys would say "you picked him?" After that we stopped by the first ward that Chris served in. We also visited a few other people that Chris knew like sister Adams, the Houtons, and the stake president. We got back to the Goodbar's and took a nice long nap. For diner the Goodbar's ordered pizza, and we watched TV with them until it was time for bed.
The next day we went to sea world. The dolphin show was closed but we got to see everything else. They have a new pet show that we really liked. We were a little disappointed that they didn't have as many or as big sharks yet at the same time they crept me out. The Shamu show was really cool though. It was a blast but we were very tired from walking around all day. This night we stayed at the Mquires house. They gave us soup, for FHE we watched a comedian and talked. They were such a neat family. The dad reminded me of Chris cause he was all buff. He likes working out, and eating healthy very much like Chris. They got along very well.
When we got up we took off to a really nice beach. Chris insisted on not getting wet but I think that his curiosity of watching me running away from the waves and grabbing seashells because after a matter of time he was wet up to his knee. So we had to change into shorts in the car. The weather was really nice. We also had a picnic on the beach, and the weather was really nice. We got back to the Goodbars and they took us out to one of Chris's favorite places called Claim Jumper.
They next day we went to Disneyland. The Goodbars son, Josh, works at Disneyland and he can get himself and three other people in 16 times a year. This was Chris's first time and my third. It was a blast, we went on a lot of rides, took pictures, and watched 3D movies, we even met Mickey the Mouse. We brought lunch so we saved money, which is nice. Chris got a head-ache from one of the rides but he took medicine and felt better. This, like Sea World, had made us pretty tired, so we went out to get pizza at the California Pizza Kitchen. We were so tired when we left, I almost feel asleep in the car. It also took a little longer to get home because Chris was going the wrong way until he saw LA city and turned around.
Today we wanted to take it easy. We went out to eat lunch with the Blinsman's who were in the first ward Chris served in. We went to the Cheese Cake Factory. That place is very expensive but they paid so I got ribs and Chris got fish. For the rest of the day we walked around an outside mail and got matching shirts from Hollister. That night the Goodbars took us out to a Mexican food restaurant. It was our last night there so we said goodbye and got up at 4 in that morning to head home.

Easter

We made easter eggs and found our easter baskets. I hid Chris's basket pretty good, but I knew he didn't like something because the first thing he said when he found the basket was something like "UCK" I guess that the sunglasses that I got him weren't cool. He did like the calone, gloves, books, and candy that I got him. He got me some cute cloths, and some yummy candy. We made 3 eggs each, it was a blast.

St. Patricks Day

Not that big but I turned the milk and pizza green. :)

valentines day

Chris had a church ball game early in the morning so he left to go play awhile i slept in. He had been gone for half an hour and I felt bad for not going so I got up and got ready as fast as I could in 5 minutes. Chris took the car so I ran to the church. When I got to the church their was a few young men that told me there wasn't a game and i couldn't find our car. Where is Chris? I gave him a call and he said that he was at the gas station getting Gatorade. So I waited at the church for him to come and pick me up and honestly I was a little upset that my idea didn't work. When we got to the house he opened the door for me and there was a cute little arrangement of candy, rose peddles, and a teddy bear on the table! :) What a cutie! He said he planned on having it set up when I woke up but my little plan to run to the church was better!

Chritmas

Our first Christmas together, I'm so excited. We opened our PJ's on christmas eve and watched soom christmas movies. Then on Christmas day we got up about 7 and went to the tree. We had picked a certain ammount of money that we could spend on presents and we got eachother presents. We had a nice breakfast and made cinimin rolls. It was a blast, I had a great christmas. Later we went to my grandma's to spend time with my family.

The Married Life

I LOVE the married life. Chris and I live in a very nice apartment called the heritage. We both have jobs, Chris works at Mygrant Glass Company, and I'm still working at Fire House Car Wash. Chris is going to go to UVU this summer doing his generals over the internet. We only have one car right now but it saves money and we can handle one car for now. We are struggling with our ward but we are giving it our best ever to work through it. We both have callings, Chris is the athletic director, they just finished basketball and are moving on to dodgeball. Our ward bet the stake so we went up to the next ward but that was as far as we mad it. I am a sunbeams teacher so the kids that I teach are 3 years old. I have 4 kids their names are Tori, Tommy, Thomas, and Trey. They are all so cute. I just got a new companion so I don't really know what to say about that yet. She seems very cool though so I'm sure that it will be fun. Oh and I am still just as in love with Chris if not more. :)

November 28- May 14

honeymoon

For our honeymoon we stayed at a hotel up in Park City for a week. We watched a lot of red box videos, and we made diner every night but once we went out to get pizza. It was really nice to spend time with just eachother. Although we did have to go back to my house on Thursday to get family pictures taken with the extended family cause Jeff Yates and his family rarely come out to Utah. Over all I would say that my honeymoon was a success. :)

The Wedding Day

The second that I woke up I got butterflies, today was the day! I'm sure this is how all wedding days start but it was crazy. Jenni Williamson was going to do my hair but couldn't so my friend Hiedi Festin let me borrow her curling iron but we couldn't find it. So my amazing aunts Teri Mattinson, Becky Barker, Krista Yates, and Anne Yates got together and worked their magic on my hair. Then I couldn't find my shirt so I borrowed my moms. We did have a very nice breakfast. We got everything we needed into Chris's car and headed off to the temple. When we got there we parked the car and waited for my parents. In the car I gave Chris the letters that I wrote my future husband when I was 14, 16, and 17. It was neat cause I remember writing them and thinking about what my husband would be like, now I know. After he read them we headed to the temple. We had the neatest guy come and talk to us before we got sealed. I honestly dont really remember much of what he said when he gave his speach but I did feel the spirit.
Getting married in the temple is truely amazing, there is nothing like it. I am so glad that both Chris and I were worthy to go to the temple and be sealed for eternity. I wouldnt trade it for anything. I have never been so happy in my whole life. We got married in the Salt Lake Temple. Both of our parents got married in that temple and so it was way neat to also be getting married in the same one with eachother.
After we got out of the temple we do our pictures, it was a very nice day, and luckily the wind didn't pick up until after we were done taking our pictures. Then we went back to my parents house to eat before we had to go to the reception. my train stays up by a botton on the back of my dress and the botton broke. Thank goodness my aunt Kendra Yates was there to help. so sewed it up real fast and we headed to the church. The church looked so gorgeous all covered in colors pink, green, and brown. My aunt Krista Yates also did a very good job at the cake! It turned out great. We did the line, the cake, throwing the stuff, and then we danced. Our first dance as a married couple we danced to "when summer comes around" by Keith Urban, the daddy daughter dance was the song called "I loved her first" by Heartland, which I couldn't stop crying during, and then we partied! We actually only danced to one song called "I gotta feeling" by Black Eyed Peas, cause we wanted to take off... to the honeymoon! :)

nit before the big day

I had my last sleep over with my girl friends, there was my sister Ranae, Sarah Yates, Alyssa Witham, and Shalece Hansen...oh yeah and my uncle Jeff. We were watching Star Trek on the big screen and he insisted on staying. We did each others nails (this doesn't include Jeff anymore, he is fixed on the TV). I had tonz of butterflies, we were so close. I was txting Chris alittle bit who was having a boys night with his brother Josh and his friend Skyler Gibbs. We talked for awhile but I wanted to get some sleep so that I would have the eneregy to get through the next day! :)

My Answer

I had always thought about getting married but now it was happening and I was getting pretty scared. I wanted to marry Chris but I didn't know if it was what I should be doing. When we were getting serious I would pray and say if this isn't right stop me but if not im going to keep dating him. After marriage though there was no going back so I wanted to be positive. My friend, Alyssa Witham, went with me to the temple to do babtism, pray, and fast. Awhile we waited to do babstims I had been praying as hard as I could to get my answer. I would feel very good and right about marrying Chris, for a second, then my nerves would get to me. I would feel scared and worried again. Even after the temple I didn't know what to do. I went to my dad and told him what happened. I asked him for a fathers blessing. He mad sure that I knew that if the answer wasnt what I wanted to hear that I would listen and follow anyway. Once I finally agreed he came over to give me the blessing. It was long and I dont remember it off the top of my head but I do remember what I was looking for. He said that Heavenly Father was proud of at me and wanted me to trust my first feeling. To trust myself and my judgements more. Satan wants me to be scared to marry the man that would help me make it to the top. Prays are answered and dreams do come true!

engagment with an 18 year old

So being 18 years old I still lived at home, and when you live under your parents roof you still have to obey your parents rules. When we were at my housewe had people sent to check on the two of us to make sure we were being good. I also had to be home by ten thirty on week days and twelve on week ends. It drove me nuts but I know that it was for the best. Thanx mom and dad :) It was weird trying to explain that to the cop when he asked why I was in such a hurry to get home. He looked confused like "your getting married and you still have a curfew?. As a wedding present he let me off the hook, but I was still late getting home. For the record Chris never got me home late, that was my fault and I drove myself home.

porposal take 2

Chris had already proposed but he told me that that was not the way that he had planned it. He had planned something else but he had boght the ring and couldn't not ask me. So he asked me if he could do it again the way that he had planned. My parents and his parents were comin over to my grandma's house to meet eachother and have diner. So naturally they got to meet my whole extended family. As soon as me and Chris were done eating we hopped into his car. I had no idea where he was taking me. We ended up at the top of the hill in Fox Hollow. It had a beautiful view of the lake and the sun set. Chris played the song that he showed me when we went to the American Fork canon. Then the song "somone is me" by Enrique Iglesias came on and he got on one knee to pop the question. He hugged me and we kept dancing, I teared up and got butterflies. Then a cop pulled up but before the cop could say anything Chris ran up to him and yelled "I just proposed!!!" The cop was like "oh im sorry to bother you, congradulations, I'll go now" He danced for a little longer and headed home.

proposal

We had been hanging out all day and we were headed to do our usual good-bye. We went out by his car to talk before he had to go. The subject of getting engaged came up when he asked me how long I thought it would take him to get a ring. I honestly didn't think he would get it for awhile cause we had talked about it before and he wanted to make sure he had the money for it. Then he told me to close my eye's, when I opened them I saw Chris down on one knee with a ring in his hand. With the following words "Will you marry me?"

our song

Chris took me up to the American Fork Canon. We followed a path up to the picnic area, which had a river right next to it. We made sandwhiches and ate them at the tables. When we were done eating we went down on the rocks next to the river. I took my shoes and socks off and stuck my toes in the river. We talked for awhile about anything and out of no were he kissed me. We had kissed before but they were short kisses, this was a head spining kiss. I forgot that my foot was in the water, it was cold, and so by the time we were done my foot had gone numb. This happened on July 4, 2009. So on our way home Chris played me a song called "til summer comes around" by Keith Urban

"I love you"

Chris and I had gone on a Drive cause we wanted to sit at the park and talk. We were in a conversation that had gotten pretty deep and I had started tearing up, so I kept looking out the window so that Chris wouldn't see me. We got to a park and I made sure that I was 2 steps in head. He ran and caught up to me. He just held me, and let me cry on his shoulder. Then we laid down on the grass and talked. He let me lay my head on his chest as we talked. Then we got up and went back to the car where Chris turned the music on in his car and we danced to it and sang to each other. He asked me what I was thinking about and I said "I'm thinking that I love you." and Chris started to tear up and he said " I love you too." he said it a few times as he hugged me.

Second Date

For our secound date we went to the Dinisour Museum. He picked me up at my house and we took off. One thing that I love about Chris is that he is such a gentleman, he has opened every door for me since we met. He is also very respectful, treat's me like a princess. I also felt more like myself this time but I still couldn't stop smiling. After we were done looking at the big prehistoric bugs he grabbed my hand, and he held it all the way through the date. even when we got into the car to leave he held my hand as he drove. Then we went down to my church building and he taught me how to drive his stick shift car. I was so Scared, I had been told how hard it was to learn and I didn't want to make any stupid mistakes. Honestly though I think that I learned really fast. After we had driven around for awhile we pulled over and switched spots again. Then we just sat in the car for about a half hour and just talked. I love it cause Chris is always talking about his mission. I can tell that he really enjoyed it, which is good to know. We talked about missionary experiences, school, or anything else that came up until it was time for him to take me home.

Our First Date

After the dance he had called me a few times and we talked for a few hours each time. It was way nice cause I felt like we could talk to each other before we had even gone on a date. Most guys wouldn't talk to me until the date and even if we did he would only txt. Chris txt every once in awhile but for the most part if it was more than a question he would call. He told me the plan for our first date was going to be a Bee's baseball game. I was super excited, when I got the call that the game was in Cali. so our plans probably needed to change. He promised that he would find something fun for the two of us. I was pretty nervous because I was still 17 so I hadn't been on very many single dates none the less with a college guy. I was coaching lacrosse practice right before the date so when I got home I only had time to Change my pants and do my make-up. My cousins Sarah Yates and Rachel Barker were waiting by the window looking for him to come. I knew when he pulled up because they started yelling "HE"S HERE!!!" He came in and we talked for a minute then I went looking for my mom because she said that she wanted to meet him before we went on the date. My mom had already headed down to my grandmas house for a family diner so I had to take him there to meet her. I was so embarrassed because he meet a lot of my extended family. My Uncle Ron even gave him a bullet with his name on it and said "I have 6 more just like it." after he meet everyone we took off to go on our date. For diner we went to JCW's and shared a Hamburger and drink. For desert we went to a place called Sub Zero. Both places were very good, I hadn't been to either of them before. We went to my house to watch a movie on the BIG screen, we watched Cellular. He didn't hold my hand during the movie, it shocked me cause that never happened to me before. It didn't end till 12, I felt kinda bad that he had to drive home so late. I also felt like i ruined the date. I was nervous, I could never make up my mind, and I giggled a lot, I didn't talk much. That wasn't like me, I was never nervous for a date before. To my surprise he called me again and asked me on a second date.

meeting my soul mate

I meet Chris Williamson at a UVU Institute dance on June 5, 2009. It was my first College dance out of high school. My seminary teacher, Bro. Tolman, gave all the seniors a wrist band to go to the dance. I was dancing with some of my friends, Alyssa Witham, Shalece Hansen, and Nate Olers. When Chris came up and introduced himself to the group like his name, where he went on his mission, ext. Then as he went to leave he grabbed me by the arm and said "will you save me a dance?" of course I said yes. The next slow song came on and we danced. I remember one of the first things I thought was wow he is very strong, his shoulders were so muscular. Not only was I impressed with his body, but he lead the conversation, which i usually had to do when I danced with a guy. I normally had to ask question to get the guy to keep talking. Not Chris though, he was very out-going. After the song was over he asked me for my phone number. I got my phone out before he did so I just had him give me his number and I would txt him mine. I saw him around a few more times from a distance. I remember sitting down by the food to eat some pizza with shalece and alyssa when i spoted him by the garbage can. I asked Alyssa what she thought and she said he was cute. I was so flattered, I thought he was very attractive. Eventually the dance ended and we headed home.

Chris Side of the Story

I went to a UVU Institute dance with my friend Allen Purvis and Cole Anstead, it was a blast. I didnt think that I would find anyone there. Then I saw this girl in a bright yellow shirt and I wanted to talk to her. She was beautiful and I thought to myself I have nothing to lose. So I introduced myself and told her to save a dance for me. Well we danced and it was cute. I gave her my number, after that I thought to myself "Williamson you idiot your not going to hear from her" I was a little bummed, at the end of the dance I got a txt from her. Going to this dance I was looking for a girl just like Sam. Short and beautiful. She was perfect and had a beautiful smile. She is my dream girl.
