Brother or Sister?

Chris and I are so excited! Today is the day we get to go to the doctors and find out if Jaylee is having a brother or a sister! I tried to keep myself busy all day so that time would go by faster. I kept Jaylee up until 11, so we watched Madagascar, then went on a walk, played in the dirt, took a bath, and went to sleep. Then I worked out to a pregnancy video for the first time showered got ready and then Chris came home. Our plan is to go to my parents after to spread the news. So we went and picked up Ranae so she could be there. Then we went to the doctors! AHHH! :) Ranae watched Jaylee awhile we went in to do the gender check. Chris said that he was 100% sure it was a boy! I didn't know what I thought it was but I was kind of expecting a girl! But to my surprise it was a little boy! :) the nurse kept trying to get us cute pictures but he is such a wiggly worm it took her some time but we got some! He looks so cute and I can already see some of Jay in his 3D picture, but we will have to see when he gets here for sure! I can't believe that were having a boy! Now we have one of each! He will be the first boy on either side of our family! After we found out we went to the store to get stuff to tell my parents. I wanted to do it in a cute way and Chris didn't really care so he just called his family! I wanted to tell my family by filling ballons up with paint and having everyone throw one of the porch onto the grass. The paint was blue obviously cause its a BOY! :) We went to Target and Chris was getting a little frustrated because they didn't have the stuff I needed so we were trying to come up with new ideas but we weren't having any luck. So we went to walmart and an hour later we were ready to go to my parents. Jaylee went down for another nap and Chris and I went around back to fill up the ballons! We got almost four done but the fourth one exploded on Chris. So we had to hose him down to get the paint off because he didn't want to borrow anyones clothes. We went up stairs and my parents and Samuel came on the deck and we gave them each a ballon. (Ranae already knew the answer) Only one ballon poped but that all they needed! I went and grabbed the ballon that didn't pop and Stockton threw it again when he got home! He seemed pretty excited too! We had chicken enchaladas for diner and some apple crisp pie for dessert! We're so excited and enjoyed sharing the news with my family!

Tavyn and Jake's Wedding

Today Chris's cousin Tavyn is getting married to Jake. Chris likes to take credit for their marriage because he said that he set them up in high school! We got to see the ceremony, have some lunch with everyone, and hang out at the reception. I got to meet some of Chris's family, we also got a picture of grandma with all the grandkids so far. This is the first time that we have had them all together. The wedding was beautiful, tavyn looked gorgeous and happy, and it was good to see everyone. Jaylee was a hoot. She just wondered everwhere laughing and chatting. She is a social butterfly and was happy to say hello to everyone. She like playing in the little water fall that they had. She did really good for how long she was up.

Hayden's Year Mark

Hayden has been out on his mission for a year! I can't believe it! I am so proud of the missionary he is and the choice he made to go! He says that he loves the people, and he loves seeing people progress and see the truth! He said he has loved his mission and is so excited that he still gets one more year to do the Lords work! Keep up the good work Elder Rentfro, we love and miss you!

Jordan & Katelyns Wedding

Jordan is my cousin, he is getting married on August 2nd. They have asked me to be there photographer for the engagments, wedding, and reception. I am honored that they would pick me to photograph their special day. So you will see a lot of pictures after this page. We took their engagments at the orchard in Provo and the castle just up the hill from it. It is actually the same place that I got my bridals done.
They wanted to get married at the Logan temple because they have had some good memories together there. The ceremony started at 10 and we had to be there by 9:30 therefore we got up alil before 7 to leave on time. We carpooled with Ranae and Samuel. Jaylee did pretty good in the car, she was awake the whole time so we had to distract her. When we got to the temple Sarah, along with a few more cousins, watched Jaylee outside the temple so that Chris and I could go inside. The ceremony was beautiful, they always make me cry a lil. I love weddings! After we got outside we waited for them to come out! After they came out we did some pictures, did family ones first. Once we got everyone to finally leave I started taking there wedding pictures. I hope that they like them! Before the ride back we stopped at a church in Logan so that everyone could get a nice lunch. Kneaders catered and it was yummy, we like kneaders. Chris but Jaylee in one of the rooms in the church so that she could take a nap. We just checked on her everyone now and then. After she had been a sleep for awhile we woke her up so that she could eat some food. We also feed her in the car and by the time we got to my parents house she was ready for another nap. I went to give the Yates the pictures and we decided to quickly print one off and display it at the reception. Krista did a great job at making the wedding beautiful. I am so happy for Jordan and his new wife Katelyn. They are so perfect for eachother.
