Halloween

This year is Jaylee's first Halloween. To be honest it was very procrastinated. Jaylee had many costumes on the ready. My first idea was that she would be the Wilson ball from Cast Away. Then I thought she is to cute to just be a ball. We had a Minnie Mouse outfit that Dawna gave us at the baby shower. So when Chris's work had their work party she went as that. However Chris and I wanted to match her and couldnt put anything together with Minnie. So we went browsing at the store the night before halloween. We spoted a cool jacket that was Wolverine. There wasnt any Chris's size but the we say shirts that had all the heros. So Chris got Wolverine and got Superman and Jaylee already had superman stuff at home. I just had to make her a cape. She was adorable! she was cute in whatever we put her in of course but the superman one was so fun and we all matched.
I hadn't seen my kiddos in a month and what better time to see them than when there is going to be a party. Jaylee and I went in to visit in our superman gear. They just loved her. Rene said she is pretty and Joyce was like who? and Rene said "Mrs. Sam and her baby." It was so sweet. Another girl named Sara said that next year for halloween she wanted to be me. That was sweet to. It was nice to see all the kids dressed up as well as all the ladies I used to work with. Even Jen came in that day. So fun!
We were going to have a halloween party but it kept falling threw so we just cancled and went to my parents house. First we stopped by to see Dawna. After we got to my parents house Chris and I took Jaylee to visit the Festins. It was nice to see them and we had a good chat. Then we went back up to my parents and watched a new TV show my dad wanted to show us called Sleepy Hollow. It looks pretty good. I wouldnt mind getting into it. It was a nice halloween if I do say so myself.

Falls

Chris has some time off because he has been traveling a lot lately. He went to Texas 2 weeks ago and last week he was in Nebraska. I go out to my moms when ever he goes out of town so it isn't to bad but I sure miss him when he is gone. Anyway today we went up to Provo Canyon to see the falls. It was a nice activity to do as a family. The weather was perfect.

Ward Shower

Our ward threw us a baby shower. It was really sweet of them and it was a great way to meet more people. Its started out ruff at first though, I had only been there for a few minutes when the lady whose house we were at got a phone call. Her dad had passed away. She was my visiting teacher, luckily my other visiting teacher was there. She said that it was fine for us to stay and do the shower. I felt really bad. The rest of the shower was fine. The food was great, they had things to make bows out of, and we had a good turn out. It was really sweet of these ladies to support us. Everyone just absolutly loved Jaylee, of course.

2 months

Jaylee now weighs 10 pounds and 1 oz.  20 inches. She sleeps an average of 7 hours straight and eats 4 oz. She is a happy baby. We still don't know what her eye color is going to be because it looks like a different color every day. She has very strong legs, she loves to kick off with them. She has also been able to hold her head up for awhile. I love having Jaylee in my life, being a stay at home mom is the best. It has its hard times too but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Jaylee truely is a blessing in our lives.

Baby Blessing

Today is the day that we had Jaylee's baby blessing. We are so excited for our baby to have this special blessing. Chris is pretty nervous to give the blessing, my dad gave him a blessing card so that he could quickly memorize how to begin the blessing. Jaylee looks so pretty in her white dress. I feel so lucky to have such a precious girl. Chris's blessing for her was beautiful, he did a great job. I was able to write it down so that she can read it when she gets older. Since it was fast and testimony meeting Chris and I both got up and to share our testimonies. We went home right after sacrament because were entertaining some guest. We had a full house but we had people help bring food so I think we had plenty. It was really cool to see so many people who love and support us under one ruff. It was fun to catch up with everyone and show off Jaylee.

Elder Hayden Rentfro

Today Hayden is leaving to the MTC. When Ranae left we all went out to Brick Oven to have lunch. So of course we went there to have lunch with Hayden. Missionaries get the pizza deal for free plus a cookie for them and their companion. Kinda cool of them. We actually saw another missionary eating at the table next to us and he was going to the same mission as Hayden. Only one car can come in to drop Hayden off so only mom, dad, and Stockton got to go and drop him off. I was a little bumbed but I guess it made it easier so that it didn't make it feel real yet. One of the hardest parts about it is thinking that when I see him agian Jaylee will be 2. We may even have another family member. He is going to be such a good missionary! Hayden has always loved talking about the church. He has a great spirit and he is going to touch a lot of peoples hearts. I miss you already Elder Rentfro.

Jaylee Lisa Williamson

It was about noon, it felt like a long night and now it was getting really close. We had told my parents that we were going to be giving birth any time now so they came over. My doctor told us to call him when we were ready and he would come over. My parents and brothers came into see us before we had the baby. We talked for a minute but I really felt like the baby was coming so I told the nurse and she said that they called the doctor and he said he was coming. So I continued to talk to my family. Then I really felt like i was just holding her in. My mom told the nurse. My family left and the nurse said the doctor isn't here yet but I can see that youre ready so lets just get started without him. We started preparing things when Doctor Young finally made an appereance. He broke my water and then told me how to push. After my first push he said ok most people take three to six hours of pushing but you will take about three to six pushes. I was so relieved. Like he said just pushes away and she was here. They cleaned her up had Chris take some pics of it and then they placed her on my chest. It was hard to see her but just the fact that she was in my arms was amazing. It was very touching to look up and see Chris. He is a tuff man that I have only seen cry a few times and he was tearing up. The doctor asked Chris if he wanted to cut the cord he said no because he wanted to focus on the touching moment then the doctor asked him again and he again responded with a no. My mom came in not to long after that and stood next to me.

July 22

We went to the doctors on the 16 of this month. The doctor told us that he was going to induce us the following week. He said go into the hospitle Sunday night so they could give us the medicine, then they would induce us Monday morning. I couldn't believe we could actually see the end. We had only 6 days until we would be parents and get to hold our little girl in our arms.

this is the last picture we took pregnant. We are on our way out to the hostpitle.

We got into the Timp. Hospitle, they told us that they weren't expecting us for another 2 hours. So we could go and come back or wait, we decided to wait. So we sat in the hospitle room for that time. Chris was tired so he pulled out the bed (which was the most uncomfortable thing ever) and I turned on the TV. I was so nervous I kept curling up to Chris and crying, then I would get up and pace. Part of me would jump when I thought they were opening our door and the other part of me wanted them to just get it started already. We started getting hungry so Chris grabbed KFC. They finally came in to do the paper work. After we finished it they returned 30 minutes later to tell us that our insurance didn't cover their hosptile. They said that it had just recently changed and our insurance should have sent us something in the mail. I couldn't believe it, all that worrying and I still had to wait. So we called the doctor at our clinic (doc. Parker) and he said that he was at the AF Hospitle right now and we could go over and get it done there. So we packed back up and headed to AF. We got checked in, they gave me the medicine (starts my contractions). It was a slow process, or at least it felt slow.I wasn't against getting an epidural but I wanted to try and see how far I could go. It was hurting very bad, i can't even explain the feeling but I so badly wanted to do it natural. Chris kept trying to get me to take it but I kept saying a little longer. The doctor showed him how he could help me through the pain, and it did help but obviously didn't stop the pain. I started crying and each time a contraction came I felt like I couldnt continue. Chris told me that I didn't have to prove anything, that it didn't make me weak if I got an epidural. He said I was one of the most stubborn people I knew but that I shouldn't be right now. So I agreed to get the epidural. The nurse also trying to comfort me on the epidural told me that not only would it help with the pain but it would speed the contractions up and i could give birth sooner. I am glad that i asked for it when I did because it took them quite awhile to get it to me. The nurse told me she was impressed with me because I was diolated to a six. and the highest is an 8. After the epidural started to work Chris and I tried to get some sleep, the nurse said it wouldn't be much longer till it was time.

Court of Honor

Hayden is getting his court of honor today. That means that he finished the scouting program. Hayden was the only one tonight which was really nice because it was all about Hayden. There was a board set up with his pictures and achievements up for people to look at. Stockton was the conductor of this meeting and I have to admit he was very entertaining with his jokes and comments. Both of my parents got up and talked, they mostly just bragged about Hayden. Then the handed out awards to and we heard Greg speak. Then it was Haydens turn to talk for a minute. Well there is another amazing accomplishment by Hayden. Congrates budd!

Haydens Endowments

Hayden is getting his endowments out today. I am so excited for him and it will be neat to see him in there. Now we just need to wait for Stockton and we will have the whole family in there. I am very proud of him and his decision to go on a mission. Hayden is having his court of honor tomorrow so we the boys are staying the night at our place.

Manly Mower

Chris and I finally got grass in the front yard. Chris is so excited, he has been talking non stop about how he wants to mow the grass. So two weeks after the sod party Chris can finally mow the lawn. He thinks I'm crazy but I had to get a picture of his first time. :)

4th of July

Today is the 4th of July. We decided to go see Despicable Me 2 with my family. It was such a cute movie. After the movie we went to eat diner at Texas Road House. I thought that it would be packed but we got seated right away. The food was good. Then we went to my parents house to hang out. We watched a movie called Parental Guidance. It was pretty funny because it was so true about how some parents are today. By the time the movie was over it was dark outside so we went out on the deck. My mom got sparklers and poppers. So we played with those and watched the big ones across the lake. It was a great 4th of July. Earlier Chris and I were out on the porch talking on the bench. We didn't know but my dad got a picture. It is pretty cute.

36 Weeks

We are 36 weeks along now, I can't believe it. Pregnancy is exciting but difficult at the same time. Right now I want her to be here already but the other part of me is nervous and really enjoying that last little bit I have of being non-parents with Chris. We went in to see the doctor. He measured me and said that I am still measuring small for where I am supposed to be. So we did an ultra sound. We found out that the baby is sitting really low. He is a little concerned that she might be stressed so we did a stress test. That's were they hook me up to some moniturs that keep track of the babies movements and heart rate for 20 minutes. The doctor said that she is very healthy but that we will do a stress test once a week until she comes. He also mentioned that we may need to be induced a week early. We will have to see, we just want her to be healthy.
