AF vs Westlake
Stockton has a football game today. Its the first one we have been able to make this year and I'm so excited to watch him play. Ranae and Samuel were able to come out too, but my parents were out of town so it was just us. We sat on the grass and I actually liked it, it was more comfy and we still had a good view, plus jay had room to walk around. He is number 19. I'm so glad that we made this game because even though his team lost he had some awesome plays. He had a interception at the six and made a touch down with it. It was awesome!! Later he came over to us so he could have me tell his trainer that he could take ibeprophen. I thought he might have a head ache but later that night I found out that awhile he was tackling a guy his own player rammed his hand with his helmet and broke his hand. I had no idea because he was back in the game five minutes later. Stinker didn't tell me. It was also fun to go because Emma goes to AF so she came over to see us during half time. Jaylee loved dancing when the band would play. Any music really! The end score was 28 Westlake to 41 AF. Still proud of you Stock!

Girls Zoo Day
Jenni was going to take Aubri out so that Tara could rest. So she invited Emma, Jay, and me to go out too. We decided to take the girls to the zoo. Aubri had never been before and Jay loved it the last time we went. We drove up around 11 after we switched Chris cars and got gas. We brought by double jogging stroller so we could push both girls together. They both seemed to love it, we would get to the animal and hold them up so they could see it. The brown bear was swimming in the water when we saw it. We also got to go to the bird show. It was about a half an hour long and Aubri really liked it. Jay liked the beggining when they had bird after bird fly around pretty close. But when the lady would talk about the birds she got a little restless. About half way threw walking around the zoo we stopped to have lunch. We ate hamburgers and fries and a few snacks that we both brought for the girls. Delicious! We headed home around 3. Both girls were exhausted and fell asleep in the car. Jay even went back to sleep for two more hours when we got her home and in the crib. I had lots of fun with my cute niece and sister in-laws! So glad they were willing to bring us along! :)

Dawna's Wedding
Today Dawna and John are getting married. Around 1 Jay and I went to help set up and do some last minute things! As soon as Chris got off work around 2:45 he came and grabbed us and we went to pick up the pizza at Costco. We're meeting some of Johns kids at 3:00 at his house. Around 4 we came back home and had Jaylee take a nap before the ceremony. Dawna also came to our house to get ready. Chris showed Cordell and Josh his new game awhile me, Jenni, and Emma went to Swig real quick to get drinks. I don't do it very often but I decided since I don't do it a lot I would get one. I got a Mr. Dew with mango, it was yummy. We came back and got dressed, Tara and Austin also stopped by our house so we could all go together. We got there just in time but the seat choice's were slim so we separated in families and found a set. Our stake president was the one marrying them. He called them to the front gave a short speach about marriage and that was that! Dawna and John are now husband and wife. Us kids went up first to congrats them and then we went into the back to mingle, eat cake, and drink milk. We got to see some relatives and old friends. When everyone started leaving we helped pick up and decided to go out to eat as siblings. Tara and Austin headedb home but the rest of us went to our house, changed real quick and decided to eat at Zupas. It is so nice to hang out with Chris's siblings. I really hope we continue to do it more. Just a few days ago we went up to see Cordell and Jennis place. All the siblings plus Greg went up, except Emma, she was in AZ. We had pizza and played games and went to the park. I enjoy all of them!

A Week Off
Chris took a week off because he has a lot of time left off. We had some lazies days but we had some fun family days too. One day we took Jaylee to the Aqarium in Draper. Chris's work gave everyone a family pass for a year because the company has their software. This is our second time going but this time there was like nobody there. It was way nice, we were able to see everything without having to wait our turn in big crowds. We also got to touch the sting ray this time. Even Jaylee got to touch one. We just leaned her over and she touched the fin of one. It was cute and she got way excited. She also really liked the shark tank. We let her stand right up to the glass and watch the fish and sharks swim by. She loved it! Another day Chris and I took Jaylee to the park. She went down the biggest slide all by herself. Chris would take her to the top and help her on, then she would slide down and I would catch her at the bottom. She is so adventurous! Chris and I would sit on a bench and she would wonder off by herself. We followed her of course but if we didn't she wouldn't even notice we were gone. Another day Chris and I went on a date to the temple and Olive Garden. My mom watched Jaylee and she took her to the farm at Thanxgiving point. My mom said that she loved the animals. She said she looked confused by the pigs and stuck her finger threw the fence to poke them. My mom also said that Jay was hard to keep up with because she was so fast and didn't want to stay in one spot very long. They went on a carriage ride together too. People were shocked when they heard that she was grandma! My mom does look young for her age.

Dad's Birthday
Greg's birthday is this Tuesday so were getting together today to celebrate. We all went over to Tara's and Austins house. Everyone brought their own meat and we did a BBQ with potatoes and a salad. After diner Chris and I gave Greg his gift. We got him a tie that Chris had picked out and he did a good job because Greg really liked it. I also made him a card that said "we will always be your little minions" and on the inside was a picture of Gru and 3 minions that had a similar appearance to me, Chris, and Jaylee. Then we sung happy birthday (which is what we're doing in the picture) and are some German Chocolate cake. Aubri and Jaylee enjoyed playing together. They went to hang out with Emma in the front. Emma was talking to Chris about things. She was having a hard time and Aubri came over and patted her on the back and said "settle down". It was really cute and funny at the same time. Joking Austin said "thats how we make people feel better at our house". Before we left Chris gave Emma a blessing to help her with all the life changes that are going on. I know that I don't say it enough but I do love this family. It is cool to see all of the siblings talk and be supportive of eachother. Earlier, around diner, Greg bore his testimony to all of us and it was also a tender moment. Very greatful for my second family.

Swimming Lessons
We signed Jaylee up for swimming lesson this summer. The Nelsons baby is a few weeks younger than Jay and they signed her up. We thought it would be fun to have them go swimming together. So she is in the same class as Claira. It was so much fun! Jaylee seemed to really enjoy it. The first few minutes of her first practice she was a little scared but she loved it after that. The only thing she never learned to love was swimming on her back. She really didn't like it but she loved jumping off the wall, and paddling on her tummy, and even being dunked under water. It shocked her but it never made her cry. Other than claire there was 2 other kids in our class. A little boy who was just a little older than Jaylee and then a girl that was a little older than 2. It was a fun class and our instructor was a sweet girl who looked to be in her early 20's. The class was Mon.-Fri. for two weeks. I am glad that we did it, Jaylee liked it and it was nice to get out of the house and see some adults.

20 weeks
We are 20 weeks into our second pregnancy! Wow, I can't believe that were half way. I havn't been as sick as I was with Jaylee. I still have to talk medicine to take away the nausea but as long as I do I feel relativly normal. I think not being as sick is making it feel a little faster this time around. Plus Jaylee is such a busy body and don't have time to slow down. :) We got to go into the doctors today and get an ultra sound. It always amazes me when we get to see and hear the baby. So excited to meet our baby boy!

Zoo Day
Today we went to the zoo! Chris had a travel day plus school started so it wouldn't be busy. We got to the zoo around 10 am and just like we thought there wasn't very many people. The zoo has finished the safari. They still have to slowly introduce some of the animals together but we got to see the giraffes and the male lions. It was pretty cool, we got to see the trainers training the lions. They said one day they will let the boys and girls in together but it is a slow process. As we want down the trail we found a place for our food to stay and we went to check out the rest of the zoo. Jaylee was so much more imprest at the animals this time around. She is older and I think understands what they are. Well just from being around dogs and cats. She thought the monkeys were hilarious. She also liked the birds in the polar bear cage. :) for lunch we brought ham and turkey sandwiches with a few snacks. We looked at the last few excipites and then decid e to to go on the train! I'm hoping the add to it hut either way it was still pretty fun! Jaylee seemed to like it too! It was nice to do something as a family that we don't get to do very often!

Mom's Birthday
Today us my mom's birthday, we're also celebrating Stockton and Samuel's birthday! We got my mom tickets to the new aquarium by Draper. They have been talking about going and my mom loves dates so there is also one for my dad! Jaylee liked to help open the present. It was fun getting her presents too! Before we went to the cabin I went out shopping with Ranae and my dad. We his my moms presents and had cake. Earlier that day we stopped by the Garrisons because they were having diner! There were also a few people there that we don't get to see very often. Before that we went to Allen and Cassie Purvis's ward because they were blessing their baby Claire, then we stopped by his parents for a little lunch! It was a busy day but also a good day! I enjoy seeing people!

Avery's First Birthday
Jaylee has a little friend named Avery and he is turning one today. Chris went on a mission with Jeremy Dowse and we have been friends with him and his wife ever since. It is pretty cool that we got married around the same time and that we had a baby around the same time. We were invited to his birthday party. We got him a little onsie that said "daddy's little slugger" on it. They got everyone pizza, so we ate when we first got there. It was Papa Johns, which is Chris's favorite. Jaylee was busy as always, after she got some food she wanted to go down the slide and jump on the tramp so Chris took her over for a little while. There were some cute little girls there that helped Jay jump on the tramp. When everyone was done eating Avery opened his presents. He was so cute and all the little kids were good helpers. Jaylee loved playing with the toys that he was done opening. So funny to see all of the little kids going crazy. As soon as he was finished opening his presents they stripped him to his diaper so that he could get all messy with his cake. He absolutly loved digging into the cake. There was no hesitation. Jaylee seemed to have lots of fun, and it is always nice to get her together with other babies. :)

Team Cabin Trip
Chris's is in support at fishbowl, and support is seperated into teams. Lacole's husbands family has a nice cabin and so as a team we're going up to the cabin for the weekend. We were so excited! We ended up leaving a little latter than planned and the weather plus traffic was bad so we didn't get to the BBQ place to eat till about 7. The food was pretty good, we just got 2 family meals to share with everyone. Everyone that went was obviously us, Lacole and her husband Ben. Then there was Seth and his wife Liz, and Randy with his wife Cindy. When we finished eating we went up to the cabin. It was raining so we had to take the long way around. We finally got there unpacked and let Jaylee get her wiggles out from being in the car a total of 3 hours. Then we put her to bed, it was pretty late! We stayed up with everyone else playing games. We played catch phrase, it was so much fun. It was boys vs girls. We did 3 rounds, first the girls won, then the boys won. So the third round was the tye breaker and the girls won. It wasn't looking good at first because we were behing about 4 and we came back. We talked for a little longer and then went to bed.
Chris and I had a hard time sleeping so we just got up around 7, plus Jaylee was up and ready to go. We layed in bed as a family for a little while and then we went down stairs. Randy and his wife were up watching the deer outside. It was a little cold. Once Lacole and her husband got up we started cooking breakfast. When breakfast was ready Seth and Liz got up. We had breakfast burritos, Jaylee really liked them. We cleaned up breakfast. Lacole and Ben took Randy and Cindy out on the four wheelers and the rest of us went on the deck to shoot some guns. I hit my first clay pigeon and called it good because I wanted to keep my record 100%. It was Liz's first time shooting, it was fun to watch her try. She almost got knocked over bu one because she wasn't expecting the kick to be so hard. Chris is starting to get into guns. He seemed to really enjoy it! When the other group got back Lacole and Ben took the rest of us out on the four wheelers. I was so excited, I hadn't been four wheeling in a long time. We put Jaylee down for her first nap and then headed off. I have to say this was my favorite part of the trip. Chris drove and I held on, he is a safe yet fun driver. The sights were beautiful, we got to see go up pretty high and see the valley. There were also a lot of sheep running about because there is a sheep hearder that lives up there. There were some jumps in the middle of the trail, Chris was trying to help me by standing up on the jumps but then I would slide down and he would sit in my lap. He didn't know why I kept laughing until we stopped and I told him. We also saw ab abanded RV. Ben told us there was this crazy guy that used to live there but he got run out because he thought he owned the land and would kill the sheep if he saw them. Later along the trail we saw two dead sheep. It was really sad and really gross. Chris's favorite part of the trail was when we went up the steapper part. We went pretty fast and he liked swerving around the turns. When we got back to the cabin we had lunch. Chris and I were in charge of the lunch so we braught turkey and ham so we could have some sandwhiches. After we ate and cleaned up and everyone took a nap. Chris and I didn't really get to because we had Jay. We layed on the couch together and she walked around talking and playing with her toys. When everyone woke up we played games and then we went back out to do some more shooting. We put Jaylee down for her second nap. This time we wanted to make it into a game. So we did boys vs girls and layed out clay pigeons for us to aim at. Fisrt we started with the closer ones till there weren't any left. The boys did win but I have to say the girls stayed caught up for the most part. I believe the end score was Boys 12 and girls 7. Jaylee woke up and came out to watch us shoot. She seemed to like it, she just walked around the porch with her toys. She liked me to hold her and watch people shoot. After we finished shooting we came in side and started to clean up so that we could head home. Chris and Cindy had already started picking up so we just had to finish and get everything in the car. We drove with Seth and Liz so on the way home, (which was so much faster this time, about an hour and a half) we stopped in Draper to get some diner. We ate at pei wei. I had never been before but it was Chris's favorite place. I really liked it too. We got home and put Jaylee to bed and went straight to bed. We were pretty tired from all of the fun that we had. It was so nice to do something with Chris that we don't normally get to do.
