Gender Check

Today we went to the doctor to find out what we were having, boy or girl. We both wanted both but we thought different. I thought it was a boy and Chris thought it was a girl. However I was kind of hoping girl and Chris was leaning towards a boy. Our apt. wasn't until 4:30 so we had to wait all day. It was ruff but luckily we both had work until 4 so we were kept occupied. As we sat in the waiting room we were nervous, we got there half an hour early too. When we finally got called in our nervous all of a sudden exculated. I couldn't believe it was a matter of minutes. When she started the ultra sound and we could see our cute babies body I was so excited. So right away the nurse showed us that our babies legs were crossed. She started to make my stomach bounce. It was so cute, our baby began to move around like crazy, however she did it without moving her legs. The first thing we learned about our baby is that she stubborn like her parents. ha ha After a few minutes she finally tossed around enough and there it was. We are having a little girl. I am so excited, my butterflies didnt leave they only got worse because now I cant wait to see her. After the ultra sound we had to stay and see the doctor. He had us listen to the heart beat. That was cool to. We had kind of heard it before but it was just on the ultra sound, this time it was loud and clear. The night before Chris and I had taken some pictures so we could send them to people to let them know what we were having. Then I called my mom, and  we stopped by to tell Dawna. Ranae and Samuel came over to visit because they wanted to hear in person. I cant wait to meet our girl, I already know she is going to be adorable.

16 weeks

Today we are 16 weeks along in our first pregnancy. Tomorrow we get to go to the doctors to try to have a peak at the gender. I honestly will be happy with either. Here are pictures of my 16 week prego bump. :) Its small but its mine, and I'm excited.

Purple People Eater

Today is Keris 25th birthday. Were having her birthday party at our house because there is more space. We got home from work cleaned super fast and then Keri and Chade came over and we decorated. Keri made her own cake and it looked fantastic, great job. People started coming over as everyone just snacked on the treats. Once we had enough people we played apples to apples until the bun guy brought the buns for our pulled pork sandwhiches. With how many people were there the game went by pretty fast. It was perfect timing though because as soon as it was finished the buns had arrived. So we ate some diner. After that we went down and played on the WiiU that Spencer had brought. It has some pretty fun games. Then the moment Keri was waiting for we played have you ever mixed with the drinking game. A lot of the questions were things most of us had done that just ment more drinks. There were lots of questions so we stopped and just raised hands because we were all about to explode. Then we continued to play the WiiU as people slowly headed to the rest rooms. I think we had 3 winners because they never went awhile in our house. Chade, Megan, and Spencer. It was a fun night, glad we could be there for it!

Hernia

So Chris has had some pain in his upper leg. He has a friend at work who knows a lot about the body and told Chris by the sounds of it he has a Hernia. So Chris called the doctors and is going to go see one for the first time in at least 5 years. We got there only to find out his friend was right. Chris has a Hernia. However it isnt very big so the doctor said it is small enough that it can still heal itself. All he has to do is take it easy on the sports and working out. I have a feeling he is going to bend the rules a lil. Im just glad that he is ok and its nothing way serious.

Sister Witham

Today is Alyssas farewell. She gave a great talk, she is going to be such a good missionary. After sacrament we went to her house for a little lunch in. We got there just in time to help out a bit and then eat. The food was good and we got a table in the dinning room to just us and some close friends. That was pretty fun. After Chris and Samuel got bored they decided to go back to my parents and play Xbox. We ended up talking for a long time about peoples mission and MTC experiences. Eventually we all had to take off. I cant believe this is the last time I will see Alyssa for a year and a half. I'm going to miss her so much but she is going to do great. I'm way proud of her.

Girls Day

My really close friend Alyssa Witham is going on her mission to California. She leaves on the 30th of this month so were going to hang out today because I have work off and we need to do something before she leaves. Alyssa, Ranae, Shalece, Sarah, Rachel, and I all went out to eat at Chilis for lunch. However, we were running late from helping Haydens Eagle Scout Project, so it kind of ended up being diner. It was nice to catch up with each other and enjoy the company. Our waiter was funny, he thought that Rachel and I were sisters instead of Ranae and I. Then we pointed out that four of us were cousin and he was like oh wow I see it now. After we were done with our food we decided that instead of spending money on a movie  we went to Alyssas parents to watch a movie on their theatre. We picked Brothers Grim because Shalece and Rachel hadn't seen it. We warned them it was a little bizarre. When the movie was over we talked for a while but then decided that we had better go home.
