Mascot Bowl

Today was the Mascot Bowl. We only stayed for one quarter but that took them about an hour. It was pretty fun, there were alot of people there though so it was a little crowded. We definitly want to go next year though. The Mascots are very entertaining. Im excited and next time we will remember to go early and get better seats!

A Saturday

Today is Saturday, it was nice to sleep in cause I havnt had a sleep in day in what seems forever. Once I did get up around 8:30 I cleaned the house. When Chris got back from working out we got ready. Today is Chris's Mission reunion so were going down there to see everyone. There werent very many people that were Chriss campanions. He was a little disappointed but there were a couple of people that Chris was happy to see too so it wasnt for nothing. They had delicious food, and a slideshow of pictures of the guys just like they did last year. They also took us into the sacrament room and asked the missionaries if they would like to come up and share something they learned on their mission that they have been able to us or see even now that their home. At first everyone seems disappointed but it ended up being very uplifting. It was very much enjoyed.



We were there for about 4 hours when we left we went up to my parents house. Today is the Homecoming for for Hayden. He had asked Tehina to the dance which is themed the Mascarade dance. My mom had asked me to take pictures of Hayden and his group. They were late getting home so we didnt have time to do alot of pictures and it had started getting dark I was a little bummed but at the same time right before it got dark I got some really cool looking pictures. After pictures I helped my mom and dad who were making and serving diner. It was pretty fancy! My parents thought of everything. They seemed to have fun and it was pretty fun helping out. Chris watched the game until the kids left then we all watched the new XMen with my parents. We didnt get home till one.

The Cabin

We went up to Austins families cabin to spend sometime with the family. It was so nice to get away for 2 days and relax. Right when we got there we layed down and just watched tv waiting for the game to start. Emma got really bored so she went out on the deck to practice her leaps for her dance class. We could not stop laughing cause she was making the cabin shack and every time she landed there was a big BOOM! We could not stop laughing and she didnt know that we were even watching her. This is the BYU vs UTAH game, so its kinda a big deal. We made diner around 5:30 then Emma went and got ready. I brought my camera out so that I could get some cute pictures in the beautiful nature. The pictures turned out pretty cute. Its easy to get good pictures though when the person your photoing is cute! So BYU lost Im sure you know. The worst part about it was we had to listen to chriss silly comments the rest of the time. After that we went to bed. We all had a hard time sleeping cause it was cold and its just not the same as being in your own bed. In the morning we had breakfast. We made pancakes, eggs, and sausage. It was soooooo yummy. After we cleaned up breakfast we watched 17 Miracles. This is our way of making learning something for sunday. When the movie was over me, Tara, Austin, Greg, and Emma went on a walk down to the river. Oh and of course Molly came. It was nice to get out and smell the open air. Emma found a cool looking caterpillar. To finish our day we had lunch which was carniasoda. Then we cleaned up and headed home.

Elisa

Today is Elisas baptism! Everyone is so proud of her. It was so cool to see her get baptised. Elisa is such a happy girl. We went over to Steph and Bobbys house for breakfast. The food was great, they had lots of fruit and muffins. After it was over we went and watched Calvin play football. He didnt win but he played really good. When the game was over we all went out to Chikfalay to eat. It was nice to spend time with Chriss extended family. Chris went back with them to watch the football game. I on the other hand had to go back to work at seven peaks on labor day. It is the last day of seven peaks though so Im just going to get it all over with.

Football

Chris went to play tackle football with his buddies like he does every thursday. This time I got a call that he was at his parents house getting a blessing because he got hurt playing. Thank goodness for his family. I didnt have a way of getting to him so Josh drove Chris home and his mom drove our car. Chris is ok he just hurt his knee and probably wouldnt be playing or running for awhile. Im just glad that he is ok.

Homecoming

Hayden is asking Tahina to the dance! The only reason Im putting this in the book is because I helped Hayden ask her and it was a great idea. The theme of the dance is a mascurade. So we printed of pictures of famous guys, cut their heads and drew bodies for them. Then we made them masks for the mascurade. The plan was to put a note on the door that said Someone wants to ask you to the dance and he is waiting inside. So she would go inside and and all the pictures would be placed inside her house. The last place she would look is in her room so in their we had a pic of hayden that said "I dont want to hide anymore, seems like everyone wants to ask you to the dance but I hope that you will say yes to me!" I thought that it was cute and fun!
