Family Over

My family came over to see the house and have diner. I made home made lasagna, corn on the cob, strawberry lemonade, watermelon, and strawberries. Not to brag but it was pretty darn good. Im trying to be a better cook. Its not my favorite thing to do but man does it make me feel good when I make something and see people enjoying it. After we ate the boys all played a basketball game on the Xbox awhile me and my mom talked.

Memorial Day

Today Chris had work but he enjoyed it because they were so slow so him and the others played halo for more than half the time! My work called and told me they were closing the park so I ended up not having work. So I cleaned the worked out, cleaned the house, and practiced my flute. I also went to my friend Shaleces apt. from 1-3 . Chris got home at 3. We went store looking until it was time to go to my parents house. My parents had a pot luck. It was so yummy. I tried to make peanut butter bars but I forgot to bake it because I made it the night before and put the frosting on this day. My family ate half of it before I told them to stop because it wasnt cooked yet. They were all like "oh that explains it" ha ha silly family. I love hanging out with them!

BBQ

We decided to have a yummy diner with Chade, his wife, and her brother. We had a BBQ on our grill, we made steak, pineapple, and asperigus. As well as corn on the cob. It was so good! We went out of the front grass to eat on a blanket. Kind of like a piknic.

Seven Peaks

So I got a job working at Seven Peaks Water Park. I work in the front office answering phones and setting up peoples accounts. Its a good job so far, at the begining im not getting alot of hours but as soon as we open I will be getting alot more hours. Plus my supervisor said that I can pick up as many shifts as I want. Its only a summer job so I am going to keep looking for a new one.

Mothers Day

Today is mothers day! Right after church we went to my parents house. We got my mom some pants that she had pointed out before, and some swedish fish. We hid the presents but Chris kept giving them away! Lucky for us my mom didnt know weather Chris was telling the truth or trying to though her off so she didnt look in the places that Chris was saying even though he was telling her exactly were they were. It was pretty funny. Then we just hung out and watched movies until it was time to go to Chris's family diner.We gave Chriss mom some Dove Chocolate. The food was so good.It was so nice to see everyone again. Right after we left we got a txt from Chriss mom saying that Tara and Austin had announced that they were going to have a baby! I guess that we left just a little to soon! What a better present to give mom than to make her a grandma! We are so happy and excited for them! Congradulations guys!

Surprise!!!

We had a surprise birthday party for Chade. It was pretty fun! Chade came down and hung out with Chris because he thought that his wife was at work. I was also thought to be out with some of my girl friends. We set up party stuff awhile Chris and Chade were hanging out. Then Keri called Chade and told him that she got home early and wanted to give him his present. ;) So he came up and we yelled surprise. The friends that were over were Keris brother Jake and his girlfriend, Cole Brett, us, and one more friend I hadn't met before. They stayed up till 1 playing Halo.Keri and I put the headphones on and talked trash to people that we played against. It was so much fun! Chris was getting super hyper, he was acting pretty crazy! The snacks were good too. Keri got some treats that she had in Argentina, so good! I hope that Chade had a good birthday!

Callings

Chris and I just got called to be in primary! We teach the 8-11 year olds. I cant decide how I feel about it! I love kids and I love teaching but I felt like I was finally were I belonged. Going to classes and learning with women, getting to know people and making new friends. I guess if this is where im suppose to be though. I will do my best!
