Valentines Day 2011

This year we didn't really do anything big. Since we work at a school for kid's we both had a party in our classes. Chris and I got Toy Story Valentine's Day cards for all of the kid's and fellow teacher's, along with dumb dumb sucker's. We had Valentine's party in our classes. The kid's were so cute and so excited. After work we went to the mall and got Hollister T-shirt's for eachother. We also got the movie Despicable Me because we love it so much, It's one of the only movies that Chris can watch more than once without falling asleep during it. It is such a cute show, and we figured it would be a good one to have and watch together. After that we went to Firehouse Subs to eat. That place is pretty good and it wasn't busy at all.

Wrestling Tournament

Hayden made sectional's in wrestling this year. So we went to watch him wrestle to see if he could make state. This tournament went on for two day's. Chris and I worked at the consetion state's with my mom so that we could get in free. My mom and stockton would come and get us if he wrestled awhile we were in there so we could run watch him. My dad filmed and I took pictures. Hayden did an amazing job both day's. Hayden got eighth set in state, then he got challenged by the guy that was in the ninth set. Just in case you don't know eighth set is the last place that get's to go to state. It was so scary, we wanted Hayden to go so bad. He went to state last year as a freshman too. We cheered our heart's out and Hayden wrestled very well. He pinned the kid and went to state. Hayden did well at all of his matches. I am so proud of him. One thing that I just admire about him is that even when he lost he would have great sportsmanship. He would shake the oponents hand or even give them a manly hug, say thanx to the coach and go talk to his coach. He would get tip's from him and then watch the video my dad took and see what he could fix. He is such an amazing kid, good job Hayden.

Grizzlies Game

First we went to Chili's with Chirs's boss Jason and his wife Margaret. The food was pretty good, we havn't been to Chili's for awhile. It was really nice to hang out with Jason and Margaret without being in the work setting. Jason was alot more realaxed. After we were done eating and talking we headed over to the Mavrick center for the Grizzlies Hocky game. We were so excited, we havn't seen one before and we were meeting one of Chris's student's Hunter and his dad. Hunter was so excited to see us. He had no idea that we were going to be coming too. We didn't know any of the rules so we had to learn as we went. It was so entertaining, I think that it is my favorite sport to watch. I think that it also helped that our team won.
