easter

chris and i both hid eachothers easter basketd. i hid his in the shoewer and he put mine in the laundry basket. he got me fr. phils new book "life code", sunglasses, and candy. i got chris a tie a tshirt and "treats". after that we got ready for church. we got called as primsary teachers awhile back. we had 1/2 our kids come. chris gave the leason about easter. he had the kids watch the last few minutes of the new testiment. he started it when chris is being tried. when it git to the intense stuff i turned to chris and whispered "is this part age appropriate" and before chris could say anything Caleb said in panic "i dont want to watch this" it kinda made me laugh. so ee skipped it to were christ returnes. in the end it was a great lesson ha ha this year we went to the williamsons for easter. we had some delicious diner at steve and juned house. after we watched the younger kids hunt for easter eggs, and we didnt do it like hunger games this time!

Gender Night

It is the middle of spring break and the Barkers are in town to visit. Tonight all of the boys went to the Jazz game against the nuggets and us girls stayed home to watched tv, did nails, and had pizza. The boys that went were Chris, Samuel, Dave, Christopher, Seth, Hayden Stockton, Zane, and Zach. The girls were mom, Krista, Teri, Becky, Rachel, Sarah, Ranae, grandma, and I. Chris called me on his way home and tried to tell a story that happened to them but he kept cutting in and out. All that I heard him say was Is Dave there, were on our way...but had to go back.....Hayden.....girls phone...now the cops are involved. I didn't know what to think happened. So he finally got home and cleared up the story. Hayden found a phone in the parking lot and decided to hold on to it. Someone called them on it and said they had stollen it and he was having the cops track it. Chris talked to them and explained that they had found it and would be happy to pull over and give it back. The guy said he didn't have a car so they had to drive back and return it. I'm glad it all worked out and they got back safe. Sadly the Jazz lost their game. However it seemed that all the boys had lots of fun just being there together. I know that us girls did.

jazz game

Chris and I went to the Jazz game with Ranae and Samuel. It was lots of fun. First we went to the mall just across the street from the Energy Solutions Arena. We went and got Rumbis, there were lots of people in Jazz shirts. Then we walked to the Arena. The Jazz played against the Nets. Christ sat next to two guys. Chris was very annoyed by the guy that sat right next to him. He kept telling his friends strange facts and acting like he knew everything. It was actually pretty funny to me because Chris kept looking at me. At half time Chris and I got ice cream at one of the stands. Traffic was fine so even though it was late we got home pretty fast.  I am glad that we went to this game because we won. I hate getting invested in a game and losing. Either way though I would have been happy because I was with Chris. He has been wanting to go to a Jazz game for awhile now. I hope that you had a good time. I also enjoy going out with my sister and her husband.

Gender Check

Today we went to the doctor to find out what we were having, boy or girl. We both wanted both but we thought different. I thought it was a boy and Chris thought it was a girl. However I was kind of hoping girl and Chris was leaning towards a boy. Our apt. wasn't until 4:30 so we had to wait all day. It was ruff but luckily we both had work until 4 so we were kept occupied. As we sat in the waiting room we were nervous, we got there half an hour early too. When we finally got called in our nervous all of a sudden exculated. I couldn't believe it was a matter of minutes. When she started the ultra sound and we could see our cute babies body I was so excited. So right away the nurse showed us that our babies legs were crossed. She started to make my stomach bounce. It was so cute, our baby began to move around like crazy, however she did it without moving her legs. The first thing we learned about our baby is that she stubborn like her parents. ha ha After a few minutes she finally tossed around enough and there it was. We are having a little girl. I am so excited, my butterflies didnt leave they only got worse because now I cant wait to see her. After the ultra sound we had to stay and see the doctor. He had us listen to the heart beat. That was cool to. We had kind of heard it before but it was just on the ultra sound, this time it was loud and clear. The night before Chris and I had taken some pictures so we could send them to people to let them know what we were having. Then I called my mom, and  we stopped by to tell Dawna. Ranae and Samuel came over to visit because they wanted to hear in person. I cant wait to meet our girl, I already know she is going to be adorable.

16 weeks

Today we are 16 weeks along in our first pregnancy. Tomorrow we get to go to the doctors to try to have a peak at the gender. I honestly will be happy with either. Here are pictures of my 16 week prego bump. :) Its small but its mine, and I'm excited.

Purple People Eater

Today is Keris 25th birthday. Were having her birthday party at our house because there is more space. We got home from work cleaned super fast and then Keri and Chade came over and we decorated. Keri made her own cake and it looked fantastic, great job. People started coming over as everyone just snacked on the treats. Once we had enough people we played apples to apples until the bun guy brought the buns for our pulled pork sandwhiches. With how many people were there the game went by pretty fast. It was perfect timing though because as soon as it was finished the buns had arrived. So we ate some diner. After that we went down and played on the WiiU that Spencer had brought. It has some pretty fun games. Then the moment Keri was waiting for we played have you ever mixed with the drinking game. A lot of the questions were things most of us had done that just ment more drinks. There were lots of questions so we stopped and just raised hands because we were all about to explode. Then we continued to play the WiiU as people slowly headed to the rest rooms. I think we had 3 winners because they never went awhile in our house. Chade, Megan, and Spencer. It was a fun night, glad we could be there for it!
