Haydens Mission Call

Today Hayden got his letter in the mail. I went over to my parents early that day to hang out with my mom. Chris was going to come out after work because we were expecting Hayden to get his call. As soon as it arrived my mom let everyone know that Hayden had his letter and would be opening it up at 8. I can't believe that my little brother is going to be leaving on his mission soon. Once 8 came around we tried to stall a little because we wanted Samuel to be there but he was running a little late. So we didn't actually open it until around 8:30. I had butterflies, I can't imagine how Hayden must have felt. It was very quit as he read his letter. He finally got to the good part and read Independence, Missouri leaving August 7th. I couldn't believe it. Why hadn't any of us thought of there for Hayden. Everything about it was perfect. Hayden loves church history, he has already read lots of books and spent lots of studying time on it. The date is also perfect. Hayden was worried that he would have to leave before he got to see the arrival of his first niece. It was really cute, every time we talked about when he would leave he would say I just want to see Jaylee before I leave. Yet he was so anxious to get out there and serve, he has been waiting a long time to go. I am so happy for Hayden, he will be a great missionary. I will miss him terribly but I know that that is where he needs to be. Congrates Hayden.

After all the craziness the boys went down to the church to play basketball. When I say the boys I mean all of the boys in my family. Chris, Samuel, Stockton, Hayden, and my dad. It seemed like they had lots of fun because they didn't get back until about 11.

Baby Shower

Today is my baby shower. It is going to be at my moms house at 10-12. Ranae came and picked my up around 8:30 so that we could get to my moms in time to help her set up. We finished cleaning, decorating, and making treats. When ten came around people started showing up. around 10:30 we started opening up presents. Mom wrote down everyone's name and what they brought, Sarah handed me the presents, and Ranae was in charge of the camera. I am so greatful for the amazing mom that I have that put this shower together. It is nice to be able to see all of the love and support. Now Chris and I can see what it is that we still need to get. It also made me even that much more excited to get our little angel here. Awhile I was gone Chris went with his friends Benson and Chade to see a movie called "World War Z". I hope that he was able to have a fun time. My brothers drove me out after and spent the night. We put one of the big gifts together. Ranae and Samuel came over and we headed to Chris's work to play in the break room with all the fun games. Then we went and bought ice cream. It was a good day!

My Birthday

Chris had work so I just picked up around the house and relaxed. Around 3 o'clock I got a knock at the door. It was a guy dropping off a flower gram. It was a pink vase, with a pink bow, and lots of pink flowers. They were so beautiful, it was from Chris and it had a cute letter attached. It was so sweet. Chris got home around 4 o'clock. He gave me a new curling iron and 2 pairs of earings. It was a good birthday, it is crazy that I am 22. I guess it will always be crazy when I am a year older. However I am already starting to get the feeling that I don't want anymore birthdays. I am happy to be this age. :)

Fathers Day

On fathers day we went to Tara's house to be with the family. Chris and I brought the watermelon to the breakfast. Everyone pitched in some money for Jeni to buy their dad some new tires. It has been awhile since we had all the kids together. It was cool to see everyone. It was also nice to be able to talk to Tara because were getting closer to having our baby. My hand has also been hurting really bad on and off and she was able to tell me what it could possibly. She was right, I do have carpal tunnel, but it will go away after the pregnancy. Tara also gave us a baby bath which will be so nice to have. After we were done hanging out we headed off to go to church. The rest of the day Chris and I just relaxed together. Great fathers day.

Superman

Today is the day before fathers day. This is the day that were going to celebrate fathers day with my family. We went out to my parents house about noon. As soon as Ranae and Samuel got out we gave dad his fathers day presents and started the BBQ. This year we gave my dad three shirts and a key chain. The key chain said #1 dad and the superman symbol. Two of the shirts had the new symbol of superman on them. The last shirt had an old guy in a superman suit, except the S was a G, and it said "Have no fear, Grandpa is here." For the BBQ we had hot dogs and hamburgers. So yummy. When we finished the eating we all went out side and played volleyball. The teams were Dad, Ranae, Rachel, and me on one team. The other team was Hayden, Stockton, Samuel, Chris, and Mom. Our team counted seem to finish out and win but we were always really close. We had lots of small injuries during the game. I got hit in the face with the ball. Ranae and Rachel collided and Chris and Stockton collided. Dad some how rubbed of the skin on the bottom of both his big toes. Luckily no emergency runs, even though Chris and Stocktons collision was a close call. The back of Chris's head and Stocktons mouth were the parts the hit. Chris had a HUGE bump and Stocktons mouth was bleeding. When it started getting dark and we were all to injured and tired to keep playing we went into the house and watched a movie called "Mama".

Yesterday I gave Chris his fathers day present. He got a Ninja Turtle shirt and a ipod hook up. This year for fathers day was different for us because this time Chris is going to be a father. There is nobody else that I want to be the father of my kids than Chris. I can't wait to see him being a daddy.

Bro Prom

Hayden and Stockton went to prom this year. They weren't in the same group but they both looked great. Like I did for Hayden last year I took the two of them outside to get some handsome pictures of them in their tuxes. What a great looking couple of boys. I love you guys.

Allergic Much

It was supposed to be a normal sunday at my parents house. We had diner and the boys went outside to play basketball. Half way Stockton and Chris came in. Stockton said that his face felt numb. When we saw him his lips did look a little bigger than normal. It was only a matter of minutes when we noticed it was getting worse. Stockton was some what purple and his tongue, lips, and cheeks were huge. He layed down and we put a fan on him. It was hard not to laugh because he looked like Will Smith on the movie Hitch. He was slurping benadril too. He started talking and he sounded like a black man. So we pretended to interview him after a basketball game. It was so funny. It didn't seem to be getting better so Chris and dad gave him a blessing. It took awhile but he slowly started going down. Thank goodness. Awhile we were at my parents we worked on cleaning up Rachel's blanket and we got invitations ready for my baby shower.
