Ranaes Return

Ranae got back today. Chris and I slept over so that we could help get ready the next day. I had already started on making decorations. We drew smiley faces on yellow paper plates, taped forks to the back, and stuck them all over the lawn. we also did yellow ribbon and yellow ballons. One of the meanings of yellow is home. This morning we made a poster to put on the garage door. We wrote welcome home. Then I put things on it that reminded me of Ranae like frogs, dice, lax stick, sponge-bob, missionary, ext. It was fun to do. Chris and I had bought Ranae a new lacrosse stick and mom had made her a missionary blanket so we stuck them on the fire place under the minion dressed like a missionary. When the decorations were ready we finished picking up the house, and getting ourselves ready. It was really windy today so we taped everything down the best we could and hoped it wouldnt blow away. We drove off to pick up Ranae!!! We were running late so we were freaking out but once we got there thinking we were 10 minutes late we actually found out that her flight was delayed and we had another 2 hours. When 6:30 came around we all got ready with our posters to hold up for Nae. When people started coming out it seemed like forever. She finally came out and we all started shouting her name. She looked like she wasnt feeling good. She had a wet paper towel pressed to her head. She couldnt see us for a while but once she did she ran over and gave me a hug and mom came and sqeezed the both of us. We had lots of plans for tonight but Ranae really wasnt feeling good. She said she had never threw up on her mission until today. So we just headed straight home. My mom called President Edwards so Ranae could be set apart. He said just parents but my mom and dad told me I could sneak in. Im glad that I did it was a neat experience to see it. He asked her questions and then asked her the hardest thing.....to take off her badge but then he put it back in her hand and told her that nobody could take that away from her, even when she didnt have it on she was still a missionary full of those memories and experiences. Beautiful. Ron came over to say hi because he was leaving the next day for a week and wouldnt be able to see her. When he left we got ready for bed. Chris is such a sweetheart. He let me have a sleepover with Ranae. He went and sleep in the leaving room. Ranae and I talked a lot. She didnt know if she should do something to say hi to Samuel or not. She decided to txt him just so he knew that she was home and that she wanted to talk to him at one point. He txt back "look on your porch I think I dropped some cheese. We ran outside were he had left a candy gram. My mom came running out yelling Samuel if youre out here you better come out now but Sam had already gone home. Ranae couldnt stop smiling so she called him and they talked for about five minutes.

The next day we had a nice breakfast of french toast that my mom made. We helped Ranae go through her closet because everything she had was put up in it. So her room is now her room again but its also moms sewing room. lol That took all day so later Samuel txt my mom to see when would be a good time to call Ranae. My mom said just come over now and he said he was scared and my mom replied so is she so just come over. Ranae ran and got ready when we told her he was on his way. He came over and they went out to talk at the park. We were getting ready to watch a movie and they came back so they watched Jack and Jill with us. After the movie they said good bye and we all went to bed. When Ranae and I were laying in bed she started crying about how she didnt like the movie because it was crued. So we ended up talking about it for awhile. Its funny because I had been warned about RMs but it was weird to hear it from Ranae. We will just give her time.

The next night Ranae came and stayed at my house so Chris and I could get a good sleep on our own bed. Samuel came over and we hung out for a while. She was mad because she found out that he was going sky diving the next day in Moab. When he left we went out to see Hunger Games at 10. Ranae had read the book so this movie wasnt as "bad" because she knew what to expect.

Saturday we invited her closest friends to come by and see her. So we had a lot of treats. My mom wasnt feeling good so I kept disappearing to be with her or sneak her food. It was nice to see everyone though.

Jenni and Cordells Wedding

Today Jenni and Cordell got married. Chris and I were also invited to the ceramony in the temple. We got there really early because we were worried about parking but we ended up having to wait an hour. Jenni was getting married at 10:30. When it was time to go it was nice to see everyone there and it was such a lovley ceramony. When we got out we waited outside for them to come out. When they did come out the both looked so happy and Jenni looked gorgeous. It was super hot outside so we did the family pictures first. After that we took off so they could do wedding pictures and we could go get the reception set up for the lunch in. On her way to the car grandma Williamson tripped on the curb and twisted her anckle so Stephanie and Bobby took her to the hostpitle. when she got back they said that she had broken several bones. So she came back in a cast. It was so sad. At 3 o'clock we started eating. When the eating slowly died down Cordells dad started doing some cute activities he had planned. The first one was he had Cordell and Jenni sit back to back. They gave eachother one of their shoes and kept the other one so they had one of each. He would ask them questions like who is the better dancer or who has gotten arrested more times, things like that and they would raise the shower of who they thought it would be. Cordells dad said he would give them 200 dollars if they could get at least 75% right. The did great they even almost got 100%. After that was finished he pasted the microphone around so that people could say things about the two of them. Bore kids seemed like they were being roasted. People were just trying to be funny. They really are a good couple together. I am so happy for them. Now we just need to get things moved around from the lunch in to the reception. When that was finally done Jenni and Cordell toke the line outside and people could come in to eat and talk or stay outside. The reception started at 7 and then at 8 they had a dj there to start the dance party. First Jenni and Cordell dance to "girl I want to lay you down" followed by the daddy daughter dance. It was so sad to see Greg cry like that. It made me think about mine. Thats the hardest part about the wedding is that dance. Then they played music and we all dance like crazy for an hour. wow I loved it. I loved dancing with Chris on the slow songs and then going bazurk on the fast ones. At 9 it was time to send the bride and groom off. We all went outside and they came through us all cheering to get to their car. There car was covered in oreos. I dont know how they were going to see out of the window. After they drove off we went in to clean up. Thank goodness we ended up getting a hotel because by the end of cleaning up we were so tired. Chris and I went out and got treats to watch  a movie together and a frosty at wendys because we were hungry. It was nice to spend so time with Chris. In the morning we went to have the free breakfast there. We saw Chriss grandma Garrison. She told me that Chris and I were her favorite to watch dance. She said she could tell that I really enjoy dancing. ha ha We were finally done with everything and headed home to have a lazy sunday in bed.

J's Endowments

Today Jenni went through the temple for the first time. She invited Chris and I to go with her. It was so nice to go through with his family. She wanted to go through the Bountiful temple which is the same temple she is getting married in pretty soon. After we got out the Badgers were very nice to take us all out do diner at Apollo   Burger. So we just talked together and ate our food. It was funny because before we went in Chris was talking to Cordell in private about benifits of marriage and I over heard so I came over to slap him and Tara saw so she asked what happened so I told her and she told her mom so Cordell was getting scolded at and Chris just sat back and laughed as Cordell tried to explain. So funny.

Josh's Farewell

My cousin got called to the Pittsberg, Pensilvania. He gave his farewell talk on sunday. It was really cool to go listen to him speak. He has such a strong spirit and he hasnt even left yet. We also got to hear from my cousin Sarah as the youth speaker and my uncle Ron was the speaker before Josh. So I got to hear the amazing talks from a lot of people from my family. I am so lucky to have such a great family and a great extended family. They are hard to come by and I got both! Josh you will make a great missionary. We will love and miss you!

Last Day

Today was the last day of school. I dont feel like it has hit me yet. Im going to miss the kids so much. I didnt think this day would come. We have done so many things through out the year. Some feild trips that we have had were Cabelous, the pumpkin patch, the mall, theatre to see the Lorax, and fishing. Some fun things we have done in class is PJ day, Dr. Suess birthday, and celebrating holidays. I had 13 kids in the class, I will miss each and everyone of them because I loved them all. This past week has been a blast but hard at the same time because I knew it was going to go by fast. I have also enjoyed working with my new friends. Im hoping that we do get together sometime over the summer. Lucky for me I still get to see them because of summer school and 3 of my kids will be there. Yesterday was the swim day and I was so excited because Chris got to come with me. He got to meet my kids I love to see Chris with the kids, I miss it from the time we worked together and Pingree. I know he will be a great dad one day because he is so good with the special kids that he just met. What a great and exciting year it has been. Dian gave me a card and wrote something that I think is so true. I dont think there are many jobs as stressful and rewarding at the same time as ours.

Mothers Day

We spent the night again because Ranae is calling at 2 and that about when our ward ends. We woke up and made a big breakfast for my mom. Chris made the french toast, I made the bacon, and my dad did the hash browns and the eggs. It was delicious. I love going to my parents ward. I feel like I always learn and feel the spirit so much. We got to hear my uncle speak in sacrament, my dad is the marriage/parenting teacher, and in relief society my mom and aunt Krista are teaching. Its pretty cool to hear from all of them. After church was over we hid my moms presents. She got a shirt, beads, scencies, ear rings, lotion, new headphones, and eye liner. I also drew her a picture of a girl minion because she had all the kids as minions. Ranae ended up calling about an hour late, it drove us crazy. When she did call we got on skype with her. It was so cool to see her. We all took turns sitting on the big chair and talking to her. She looks like she is doing really good and that she is happy. She has a few days more than three weeks until she comes home. I am so excited. After we got off we went done to Teris and had diner. I got to met Joshs "girlfriend". He leaves on his mission in a week and a half so he wanted her to come to the families. It was fun to be with everyone and to catch up. I love my family.

Weekends

Chris is went camping with Chade Miller and Bret German. They are going West of Saratoga Springs to shoot some rabbits. I have never slept without him so Im went to spend the night at my parents. My mom was going out so I offered to babysit for my aunt Teri and uncle Chris. It was pretty fun and I got a few laughs. When we were on the tramp Riley was sitting on my lap. She looked up at the Mt. and said "look theres Lisas house" I said "yup theres my moms house" confused Riley replied "your mom lives with Lisa". I tried to explain the consept of cousins but it just confussed then when Riley said "I have a cousin, her name is Lindsay." "Lindsay is my cousin too" "ZAK.....Lindsay is her cousin too." I love kids. Then when put them to bed Zak found two spiders. He caught them and put them in big bins. As he looked at them he said "ones a boy and ones a girl, so when I wake up I hope there are more spiders in there." Yuck When I got home both the boys were till awake so I went into their room to talk. Stockton fell asleep pretty fast but Hayden and I were up until 2:30am. Funny story, when Hayden and I were in the middle of talking Stockton started rolling his arms, then he sat up and said "ya I got it" then laid back down. We couldnt stop laughing, the radio was on so I kinda think he was dancing in his sleep.

The next morning Chris was back, we had a shooting activity that Chris (in the elders qourm presidency) planned for the ward. We had a decent turn out of 16 people. Hayden came with us too. It was super fun, we ate hotdogs and shot some guns. I love our ward, alot of people that we hang out normally were there. I shoot some of the guns but I became the pull girl. I flicked the disc for people to shoot at. My arm even hurt latter. When we got home we showered and Chris headed out to go to the gym. Mean while my family headed over to my the Rentfros house. Brent and the family are moving to Florida because he got a job there. It was nice to say good bye to them but like always we got out at our first exit. Once we got out I took the boys out to get mothers day gifts. It took us a few hours but we really want mom to know how much we love her. I hope that she likes what we all got.
