First Snow Day

The last time that Jaylee saw snow she was about 8 months old. It finally snowed today and we went outside to play in it. At first she seemed shocked and confussed. Then she got a big smile on her face and played in it. So fun!

Growing Up

Jaylee is growing up so fast and it hit me really hard when I watched her feeding herself. She wants to be independant, she would get upset when I would try to feed her. I just thought she was getting picky but later learned that she just wanted to do it by herself. Its so cool to watch her learn and grow but it also makes me sad because she looks more like a kid than a baby.

Night Out

Tonight is the last night without a second kid! My mom took jaylee because we're aren't sure what time we need to go in tomorrow! Chris and I decided to take advantage! We went out to eat at Olive Garden! Then we went to see the movie American Sniper. We don't get to do this very often, it was really nice to be just the two of us for a little bit! Now the night is coming to an end! Let the craziness begin!

3 musketeers

It's the last night that will only be the three of us! So we let jaylee stay up with us and watch Tangled on our bed! She was so cute, I couldn't stop looking at her and thinking about the year and a half we've had with her so far! She seemed to understand that something was up because she was snuggly with us! She is such a joy and I can't wait to see what the next year and a half will bring with both kids now!

Baby Shower

Tara is throwing me a baby shower. It was so cute, she had hot chocolate, and donuts. We did it at her house, and we had a good turn out of family and friends. We got some pretty cute things for our little boy.Jaylee liked helping me open the gifts. She was going a little fast for me to keep up with. It was super cute how excited she would get over some of the gifts. Now we know what we still need to get so Chris and I can go get them. The baby shower has made me more and more excited to get this baby here. Thank you to Tara for putting on the perfect shower for me!

New Years

2014 is coming to an end, so crazy. We went to celebrate at my parents house. We decided to sleep over because we didnt want to wake jaylee up so late. we all ate diner and then watched a movie together and then put Jaylee to bed. Now we could play games. Stockton was gone with his friends so it was like a triple date with my sister and mom. We played some pretty fun games, there was a new one called Nuts. It was so fun! we also played compatability, Chris and I won. When midnight finally came around Chris headed for bed. I stayed up and talked with everyone until Ranae and Samuel headed home. It was a good year, this next year I would like to work on my cooking skills.
