We got there in time and we were able to talk to Hayden for about 20 minutes or so. He looks like he is doing great. He seems so focused and so happy. He hinted that he was struggling with his companion but he had a good attitude and was trying to do is best to make things work. I love that guy and am so proud of him.

Home Trip
So the day we headed home from the trip it was mothers day. My brother was going to be calling. All I knew was that he was going to be calling between 1 and 3. That was part of the reason we left so early. When we left it was a little chilie but when we were about half an hour into our drive a storm hit. It was freezing and snowing. There was about a foot of snow. Dawna had to slam on her breaks because all the cars infront of us suddenly stopped. There was a semitruck coming right behind us who also had to slam on his breaks, in order to miss us he went onto the side of the road. Another semi truck came whizzing by in the lane next to us but he didn't have anywhere to go like the other one did, but he tried and ended up hitting the back corner of a car. It was insane how close everything came to us, it was like we had a protective bubble around our car. It was actually pretty cool because 10 minutes into the drive Dawna said " I feel like we should say a prayer real quick." WOW! Dawna called 911 to report everything and the cop said their already on their way because there are 8 wrecks ahead of us. Traffic was at a stand still for awhile, it took us 2 hours to get 10 miles. After we got going we decided to stop and get some food and let Jaylee stretch. We went to Costa Vida and took a bathroom break. When we got back on the road and talked to my dad, we were trying to get back on time but that slowed us down a lot. The weather here is strange because only half an hour later the weather was fine. There was no snow anywhere but the mountains. We got home at 3:30 and my dad said Hayden had just called. So we got our stuff, cleaned up ourselves and were back in the car to try to make it to my parents. Poor Jay, she is such a tropper, she got a little fussy but she was amazing!
St. George
We went to St. George with Chris's family. It was a blast and a much needed vacation. We went up with Chris's mom in a rented van. We left at about 11:30 in the morning, I was nervous about Jaylee in the car but she was great. Maybe cried a total of 2 minutes out of the three and a half hours. She slept for one hour and then was happy to just look out the window and play with toys. We only had one bathroom break so we got to the condo around 3. We got settled and waited for everyone to show up. Chris and I got to stay in a room with a queen and a play pin for Jaylee. When everyone else got settle we made diner, we had pork chops. We basically just hung out and got some rest.
The second day was pretty much girls day. First we went to the store to get the food for the rest of the meals. Then we went to get drinks from Swig and get peticures awhile the boys watched the babies. It was Emma and mine first time ever. I really enjoyed it and it was nice to be with the girls. When we got back we all got ready to go down to the pool. As soon as Jay got up Chris and I went down and joined everyone else. I was thinking Jay would love it because she loves the bath but she struggled at first. She didn't seem to like it but she warmed up to it and was smiling again. Chris took Jay and I layed out for a little while. For diner we went out to Texas roadhouse. After we stopped by the condo. Some people were to tired to go on the hike so Dawna, Cordell, Jenni, Josh, Emma, and I headed out.We went on a hike called Butterfly trail. It was so fun, we went around 8:30 so it was getting dark. We followed the path until we found the cave. We thought it was going to be a small cave underground by the was Cordell described it but it was massive. We helped eachother down and went into the cave. It was so much fun! When we turned our flash lights off it was almost pitch black except for the glow sticks that we braught. It was so cool, I am so glad that I decided to go. We started heading back and you could tell that Cordell was a little actious to get back to the car. The hike wasnt that long, we were able to get back to the condo by 9:45.
On the third day is was the guys day. We stayed at the condo with the babies so that the boys could go golfing. Then us girls took the babes to the store just to look around. Awhile we were in target getting toys for the pool Aubri triped awhile chasing Tara and hit her head on a display case. It sounded painful and when she got up she was bleeding. We were a little worried. To make her feel better Jenni got her a slushi and when she gave it to Aubri, Aubri said "and some popcorn" ha ha that girl knows how to play her cards. She would calm down and start crying again, we thought she might have a head ache. We went by Swig again and got some drinks and treats. Then we put Jay down for a nap and got ready to go to the pool. The guys went down to practice putting and maybe play some basketball. Then we met up at the pool. Jay had to ease up to it again but she seemed to do it faster this time. She was in the pool for quite awhile and then Dawna took her up awhile Emma, Jenni, and I stayed to tan. I got a little burnt on my shoulders but I'm loving my tan. For diner we had baked potatoes, and steak. Later that night we went on a small hike to Dixie Canyon. It was so pretty because on one side it was all the orange rocks and then when you climbed to the top you could see the whole city. Chris didn't like that he was getting dirty and that the hike was longer than he thought but he survived. Josh really wanted to get Sub Zero, so we all went together. By the time we got back Jay was ready for bed. She went down and we all just chilled together. Everyone got ready for bed just as it started to lighting and thunder. So instead of going to bed right away Dawna, Josh, Emma, and I sat on the swing out on the deck and watched it as we cuddled our blanket it was very cool to watch of fun to talk. I can't believe our trip is coming to an end.
The next day we woke up got our stuff together and cleaned up. We got in the car and headed home by 9:30.

9 months
Jaylee is 9 Months old. She can pull herself up, stand on her own for 5-10 seconds, and climb the stairs. She can eat everything except honey, which is fun because she loves to eat everything. She is a happy girl, no teeth yet but she has been teething a lot lately so soon. She goes to bed at 8 and gets up at 8. How did we get so lucky? As you can tell from her pictures she as a lot of personality.

Easter Day
We got Jaylee an Easter basket. My family had the tradition of hiding the Easter baskets, so I just covered Jays with a pillow. She got an elephant that shots out balls, so we turned it on so she could hear it and be able to find it. She also got bubbles, a fruit squeeze, and some mango puffs. When she found her basket she immediatly grabbed the squeeze,so funny! She loves her food. Chris and I were asked to talk in church. It was good to study up on Easter, I feel it gave us a better understanding. I think that the meaning of Easter is underrated. Everything we believe can be traced back to the teachings of Easter. I talk mostly about Christ life and the resurection and Chris talked about how he has seen the blessings of Easter affect people. Dawna and Josh came so that Jaylee could sit with them awhile we talked. Chris's aunt Dayna made a gorgeous dress for Jaylee. It was perfect and she did it in two days. Amazing! We loved it, I got some cute pictures of Jaylee wearing it. She is such a pretty baby. Dawna braught Jaylee and easter gift. It had a jumping bunny, some banana puffs, sunglasses, and two little people (Arora and Ariel). We went out to my parents house for Easter diner. We had roasted ham, yum! My mom also gave Jaylee some easter gifts, spoiled girl :) She got another jumping bunny, some bubbles, and a pink bunny. I can already tell that holidays will be better after you have kids.

Easter Eggs
We got together with Ranae and Samuel to have diner and dye easter eggs. We put Jay to bed and then started. I put a lot of water in the dye so it took awhile but we got more time to talk. We love hanging out with these two.
