1rst Ultra Sound

We originally went into see the doctor just so that I could get a refill on my prescription for Zofran. However Doctor Young said "why don't we just take a look and see what we can find." I'm glad that he did because it made it more real to me to see there really was something there. He said we looked about six weeks along so there wasn't much to see but he showed us were the baby was on the picture. I am so excited.

The Emergency Room

Not long after we found out I was pregnant I started feeling sick. I have been moving from one sickness to the next. Some days I feel nausea's other days I'm throwing up and some days my stomach hurts from hunger but nothing sounds good. Chris has been a good sport, although its frustrating he still runs to the store for me whenever I think of something I want that we don't have or if we do have it he is good at getting up and getting it for me and making me meals. I'm so grateful for a husband that's so willing to take care of me. So I had been throwing up for almost two days straight and I was so tired because I hadn't been able to sleep for a long time. Eventually I was just dry heaving. It was about four in the morning and Chris called his mom because neither of us knew what to do. She suggested that we go to the Emergency Room. So we did, although the hospital is only five minutes away it felt like one of the longest rides of my life. We finally got inside. When we got in the room the doctor asked me a few questions and then said is there anything I can do for you right now and I said "if you wanna leave the room I can throw up". They got me attached to an IV  so I was getting fluids back into my body. Then they put some Zofran into the IV so that I could keep it down. As soon as it started working my stomach started hurting really bad because now I could feel the hunger that my body needed from not eating for two days. We had been there for about 2 or 3 hours and they said that I could go home.

The rest of the month was off and on of my sicknesses. Zofran stopped helping me feel better and it was very unpredictable. It took me awhile but I figured out that it was my prenatal pills that were making me stay sick. Now that it is the end of the month I feel the best that I have felt in a long time.

Crazy Day

Today was a crazy day. We spent the night at my parents because were going to their ward in the morning. My cousin Jordan got back from his mission to Washington. Its so cool to have him back. He had a great talk, Hayden braught a friend who has been struggling with her testimony with the church. I really felt the spirit with Jordans talk, great job JR. When church was over we went to the Yates house for the lunch in.

When we finished socializing and what not Chris and I left to go to Aubris first birthday party. It was so cute. We got there just in time to see her finish opening her presents. Then we got to see the cute cake that Tara made and see Aubri dig into it. At first she was shy but she got into it after a bit.

We got home and Chris kept saying can I go get a pregnancy test for you, I really feel like you are. So he did and I took it when he got back. To my surprise it was positive. We had been trying to get pregnant for almost 9 months. It had been one of the hardest trials I had had in a long time. I coudnt believe it was finally happeneing. So of course we drove back out to my parents. I was pretty sad that my dad was out of town but I knew I would spill the beans if I didnt tell my mom right then. Our plan was to put a present on the door and doorbell ditch them. It had two shirts and the pregnancy test with a card. It seemed nobody was home so we went threw the garage. Stockton was down stairs and mom wasnt home yet.

So we just set it on the counter knowing that was the first place she would see when she came inside. Hayden came home and still no mom. Both boys were weirded out that we were still there but I didnt tell them. I promised mom she would be the first to know. Mom finally came home so Chris and I went onto the deck to watch her reaction threw the window. First she saw the card infront of the present, then she peaked inside. She saw the test and already knew it was us. She quickly opened the letter and started to cry. She grabbed her phone and started to call us but we knocked at the deck door. She gave me a huge hug. The two shirts in the bag said "call me grandma" /grandpa. The boys came in and heard so we immediatly called dad. He guess right when I said guess what daddy. Mom insisted that we go tell my grandparents.  We went into their room and and I pulled out the test and said you may want to see this. Grandma gave me a big hug and behind her I could see grandpa start to cry. Everyone knew we had been trying for awhile so they were super happy for us. We didnt want to tell anyone else until the family christmas party. However as we were leaving I could see my mom walking down with her grandma shirt on to tell Teri. I told her our idea and she said " but I already have my shirt on" so we let her. Then she went up to the Yates to show them so we followed. It was pretty cool to see all of our support. A few days later we decided to call all of Chriss family because apparently my grandma already told Uncle Bobby when they went to get his truck. We told everyone that we didnt want to find out from someone else. Im just glad that its finally happening. I hope I am a good mom.

Shooting

My brothers spent the night because were all going shooting. It was lots of fun to go shooting with my family. There was dad, Hayden, Stockton, Sarah, Jordan, Ron, Asia, Uncle Chris, Grandpa, and us. First we just shoot and trash around the area. We took turns using guns. After we did that we threw clay pigeons and shoot at them. I was actually really impressed with Chriss shot with a rifle. He hit most of his clay pigeons. For those willing to try, Jordan and me threw two at a time and they would try to hit both. It was lots of fun.

Thanxgiving

Today is thanxgiving. We went to Bobbys house to eat with the whole family. The food was so good. After we finished eating Elisa was dieing to do a craft project with everyone. We were making snowman with candy canes and snowflackes. It was pretty fun but I think half of us got burnt by the hot glue. They turned out cute though.

Later that day we went to Taras house to eat pie. We doing family pictures tomorrow with my family so my brothers came to sleep over. So they were there at Taras. I love pie, they had like and oreo cream pie, so good. Cordell and I became closer friends tonight. We went from a 6 to a 9 when he farted. It was funny because he was asking if it was ok and I was like, if you only knew who you were talking to. When we got home we played Halo. Chris went to bed after awhile but we stayed up all night, it was pretty fun.

3rd Year Anniversary

We have a whole week of for our anniversary. Im so excited to spend some time with Chris. We decided just to stay home and be together. However my lovely parents gave us a free night at a hotel for taking Ranaes pictures. So we used it the night of our anniversary. Before we went to the hotel we went to the Jordan Commons to watch Wracked Ralph. It was such a cute movie, when it was over we checked into the hotel. It was pretty nice, I really liked the shower, it was big. Later that night we went to City Creek mall. Chris has been dieing to go. We walked into the sports stores of course. We saw the Disney store and went in. We went in and Chris came up with an idea that we had to pick something to give to the other under $20. We would surprised eachother in the car. At first I didnt want to because Im cheap but I decided to be a good sport and do it anyway. When we finished we went back to the car. He gave me mine and I gave him his. He got me Animal from the Muppets, I got him Squirt from Finding Nemo. It was super cute, great idea Chris. We went back to the hotel and watched movies. In the morning we got up and ate breakfast. It was pretty good.

The next day we went to Jack and Jills Bowling in Lehi. It was pretty fun even though neither of us did very well. I won one and Chris won one. We were pretty even as far as fairness goes. I saw some kids that I went to High School with. It was pretty funny.

Homecoming

Today is my grandparents homecoming talks. Stockton is also going to talk at their homecoming. I love hearing my family speak. Stockton spent the night and we talked about his talk. It was cool to hear it presented though. He did a great job on his talk. After him was my grandma followed by my grandpa. It was cool to hear about their experiences on their mission. They worked really hard out there. Im excited to do that with Chris on day. After that we went to my dads lesson. I love learning on parenting. After that we went to my parents, they were having a lunch in for them there. There was a lot of people that I see at family reunions. After awhile of socializing me, Ranae, and Sarah went into my parents room to have more private conversations. I dont think I can say enough how much I love my family. We have some good talks in there. Eventually the day ended and Chris and I headed home.

Brick Oven

Today we went to Brick Oven for my aunt Teris birthday. It was also the first time that I will see my grandparents back from their mission. It was fun to have them, my parents, all my aunts and uncles, plus Ranae, Samuel, and Stockton all together. They had an all you can eat pizza deal so most of us got that. It was funny not even half way through the meal the waitress pointed out that Troy was the trouble maker in the family. So true, we all had a good laugh. They also came out and sang to Teri awhile she was standing on a chair. I love my family and it was so nice to see my grandparents again. I have missed them so much.

Halloween Party

Halloween is coming up so we decided to have a halloween party. Some people bailed on us so we ended up having a lot more treats than needed. Everyones costume were great. We mostly just hung out and talked. Aubri and Brailey were so cute. They were probably the most entertaining part. We liked to watch them crawl around in their costumes.  We were carving pumpkins but not everyone braught one and the babies were getting ornery so they went home. Ranae and Samuel didnt bring theirs so it was just us and the Hansens. We carved our pumpkins and chatted. When we finished we watched the end of the Notre Dame game. As soon as it was over the Hansens left. To finish the night we watched Hocus Pocus with Ranae and Samuel. Everyones costumes were so cute.

Chris's Birthday

We went to my parents house to celebrate his birthday. Ranaes birthday is on the 19th so were celebrating both of their birthdays. We hid their presents like we always do. My mom doesn't like that we still hid them so she tries to give it away. When they finished opening their presents we ate diner. My mom made rice and chicken in the crock pot. The food was good. Chris started to fill sick, so we went home early.

October 14

Today is Chris's birthday, he is feeling better than he did yesterday so we got up early to go play football. I cleaned the house and got us ready to go to the zoo. Chris wanted to go to the zoo for his birthday, we are going with Hayden and his date Brittany Thompson. I drove because Chris was starting to not feel good again. I was hoping if he relaxed again he would feel better but by the time we got to the zoo he felt more sick. We went in and Chris was doing alright but by the time we went all the way through he had to run to the bathroom. He felt bad that we didnt stay as long as he had hoped but who could blame him. Sadly the rest of the day he just stayed in bed. Poor guy, he is hardly ever sick but of course the day he does is on his birthday.

Corn Maze

Im having my girls night tonight with Ranae, Shalece, and Alyssa. First we went to little ceasers to get some diner. We ate it in the car when we got to Thanxgiving point. For my asl class I have to go to a deaf activity. we went to a corn maze hosted by the asl club. We showed up late and I thought I wasn't going to get to count it but as we were going in the club was going out. I saw my teacher and talked to him for a little bit, then I signed with Shalece until it got to dark to see her hands. The corn maze was so fun.  We kept trying to scare each other by sneaking of and creeping through the corn. We walked around for a long time to come back to the beggining. So we turned back around. We weren't going to give up that easy. We all hooked arms and walked around again.When we got about half way through the maze Alyssa just disappeared. We called out for her, and walked back to see if we could find it. So we decided to proceed without her. We finally found our way to the end and Alyssa was on the bridge waiting for us. I have no idea how she got to the end so fast but she did. She truly is batman. We walked around and looked at some of the other things that they had at Cornbellys. Then we came back to my house and talked for a few minutes.

25th Birthday

We are celebrating Chriss 25th birthday with his family. We went to Tara and Austins house, it was my first time seeing their new place, and it was adorable. We had beef sandwhiches, salad, chips, and for dessert we had pumpkin cake. The food was great. It was fun to see everyone together. The boys and Emma played a little basketball. Chris loved playing with Aubri too. Grandma brought Mojo, we put him out on the deck but Aubri liked to watch him through the window. It was so cute.

Our First Home

Chris and I have purchased our first home. After searching and being very patient we found the house that felt right and that we were so excited for. We put on offer on it and obviously got it. We had about a month to wait till we could finally move in, filling out papers, sending emails, getting inspections, all that crazy fun stuff. We slowly packed up all of our stuff. It felt like it was taking forever until it was finally moving day. I have really enjoyed living here. We have made so many good friends. Ill miss being so close to all of them, even though were only moving a few minutes away its wouldn't be the same. It is a bitter sweet, Im so excited to start this new chapter with Chris. On wednesday night we got everything moved into our new home, we spent our first night in our new home. I took thursday off and Chris took a half day because we had to clean our old apartment. Kassi came over and helped me for a while and so did Dawna. Chris and Greg went to pick up the desk that we had in storage at their house. It didnt take to long and before we knew it we were all moved into our new house!

Hundleys Wedding

Chris and I went to Craig and Natalias  wedding. We had the honor of going into the temple to see the cerimony. It was beautiful. We were also invited to the lunch in but we ended up going to the wrong place.  So we just went home until the reception. The reception was gorgeous. The food was yummy. Some people from Chriss parents ward were there so I got to meet some more people. Chris and Craigs brothers were so excited to decorate their car. They had balloons, silly string, and window paint. They also put superman boxers hanging from the rear view mirror. So funny. After that we watched Natalias family sing to her, than Craig sang to her with his sister as the backup singers. It was so cute. Then they did the dances. They had a bunch of slow songs for people to dance to awhile the new couple got dressed to go to their honey moon. We all lined up to blow bubbles at them as they got into their car and waved them goodbye.

Keris Baby Shower

 Our dear friends Chade and Keri Miller are having a baby soon. I am throwing Keri a baby shower. I love planning this kind of stuff even though it is a lil stressful. Keri said she is doing the babys room white and pink with bugs. So me and my mom made her pink blankets with lady bugs on them. We also got her a bow to put on the babys head. Tara came over early with me to help set up. Most of the decorations were from Ranaes and mines wedding.We ended up having quit the turn out. I was glad that it all went well. First everyone just snacked on the food that was prepared. Then Keri introduced everyone so we could pass out presents. We were pretty much done once presents were opened but I also had a game, "how many skittles?" that people had to guess and the closest person got to keep it. The girl who got it was a neice on Chades side of the family. I really hope that Keri liked it. :)

Bee's Game

We are finally going to a bees game. I say finally because if you remember from our first date Chris said we were going to a bees game but we didnt because it was in California. So I have always told him that he owes me a bees game. His work gave him free box seat tickets to the game. It was a lot of fun. I had never been in any kind of box seat before so it was a cool experience. However we didnt do much of watching the bees because tonight is also the first night of a BYU football game that we had playing on the TV inside the box. We did sit outside for a minute to have the Bees experience. We got free diner and desert. Since it was somewhat a work thing Tara and Austin were there too. It was nice to spend time with them and meet other people that Chris works with. The bees lost but thats ok because BYU won!!!!

Birthday Month

This month there are a lot of birthdays. There is both our moms, Josh, Stockton, and now Samuel. My family got together to celebrate them. Yes we still hide their presents just like we always do on birthdays. My mom keeps trying to get rid of the tradition but I will not have it. This year Stockton is turning 16, I know its crazy.  Then we all had diner together followed by cake and ice cream.

Ward Campout

This weekend were going to the ward camp out, mostly because Chris is in charge of it, being the Elders Qoarum President. Kassi Nelson rode up with me because Josh and Chris went up early to get a spot and put up signs. We mostly talked and listened to music. Im just glad that we didnt get lost. We borrowed the Millers tent because we dont have one yet. Chris was worried about the turn out but we were really happy with the way it worked out. A lot of our close friends came. A few couples just came for the evening and then left. We got a beautful sight that gave us plenty of space. The boys made a shooting spot in back for their bebe guns. Some people braught their kids and Im not going to lie but it was pretty entertaining. Their were only boys and they were quit adventurous.When it got dark we had smores and they tasted really good. We stayed up pretty late talking with everyone. So heres the bad part, Chris asked me to get blankets, I thought it was just incase it got cold. Now I realize it was because we didnt have sleeping bags and he wanted something to sleep on. So we had two flannel blankets for the two of us. It was a ruff night, but a good excuse to snuggle close. Luckily some other people were smart and braught extras, they were kind enough to share with us. The morning was pretty fast, we got up made fire, breakfast, cleaned up, and headed home. I like camping, Chris doesnt like to feel dirty so he showered right away.

Dinosaur Museum

Chris and I decided to go to the Dinosaur Museum with Chade and Keri, along with another couple and their baby. Tonight was one dollar tuesday or something like that. The last time that Chris and I went to this museum it was our second date, when we first held hands. We decided to take a picture by the special spot. :) You cant really see it in the picture but its the swimming dinosaur in the small cage right after you pass the big bugs. It was really fun because we goofed around and had some good laughs. Chade and Keri are such a fun couple.
