Zoo Birthday

Ranae is going to the zoo with Samuels sisters to celebrate their nephews birthday. They said that me and my kids could tag along. Jaylee loves the zoo. I put her on the monkey leash so she could walk but that I can keep track of her. We stomped by the small splash pad in the park,so I let her off, and lined against the exit. However Jaylee still snuck past us. Every 2 minutes I would spot her but this time I couldnt find her. I ran to the top of the slide and checked around the boat but she wasn't their. My heart was racing and the worst senerios were running threw my mind. Then I heard a lady say is anyone missing a kid. I ran to her and said I am. She asked a little girl with brown hair. I said yes and she said they have her around the corner. I booked it up the hill and around the corner. I saw a lady who was pointing to the right of her. When I got closer I saw a zoo worker holding Jaylee. I finally felt relief and then embarrasment set in. I had become that parent that lost their kid. I am just glad that she was fine. She wasnt even scared. When I got to her she was just talking to the zoo worker. When she saw me she was like "hi mommy!"  The rest of the zoo was great. They had mechanical dinosaurs set up around the park. Jaylee loves dinosaurs, she loved them, the T-Rex did start to scare her but not to much. Half way threw the park we stopped to get some food. I had packed sandwhiches and snacks for me and Jay. They also had cake for his birthday and gave Jaylee some. When Chris and I come to the zoo we are usually done within an hour or so. This was the longest it has ever taken us to get threw the zoo. We were there for about 3 to 4 hours. Which was fine Jaylee was just getting a little fussy because she was tired and it was past nap time. When we got back to the car Jaylee zonked out. Nixon also slept in the car. It was lots of fun and nice to get out of the house and spend time with Ranae.

Fathers Day & Sam's Birthday

This year my birthday feel on fathers day. Which is fine, I don't mind. I love celebrating fathers because I have an amazing dad as well as a husband who is an amazing dad to my kids. Jaylee and I painted some rocks. I put those rocks in a vase and then traced the kids hands, taped them to sticks and wrote "our dad rocks". I got Chris a picture of the Sacred Grove. He had told me that the pictures in your house should teach about the church. To him the Sacred Grove is an important picture to have because it raises questions and allowes you to talk and remember Joseph Smith. I thought that was a cool view and wanted him to have that. After church we went out to my parents. My dad wanted some Church and America books so we all went in on getting them for him. For my birthday my mom got me a shirt, some paints, and socks. Stocktons cute girlfriend Sierra got me a shirt and lotion. I am so happy with them they are super cute. It was very sweet of both of them to get me something. Yesterday was the day that Chris and I really celebrated my birthday. He got me cowtails, Mt. Dew, and stayed up to watch Ever After, which is like my favorite chick flick ever. It was very sweet of him. Greg also came over the other day and since we didn't thing we would see him on fathers day we gave him his gift. It was a framed picture of the kids.

Happy Fathers Day!!!

Stocktons Mission Call

Stockton finally got his mission call. I cant believe it, my youngest sibling is getting his call. He was going to open it on Sunday with a bunch of friends but he got talked into opening it today with close family and friends. Once everyone was there and all settled in Stockton bore his testiony then it was time to find out where he was going. He read his letter and we found out he was going to Beillings Montana and reporting to the MTC on July 8. That is a month a 1 day before Hayden gets back. It is nice to know when he will be leaving and not have to wonder how much longer we have with him.

Stockton's Endowments

Stockton is going on a mission soon, so we went to the temple with him when he got his endowments out. Stocktons got them out at the Draper Temple. Aunt Stephanie watched our kids so that we could go. After We were finished at the temple we went to JCW's for lunch. I can't believe that everyone is my family is able to go to the temple. I can't wait to be able to go with them all at the same time but that will be awhile because Stockton is leaving before Hayden gets back. I am so proud of Stockton, he is an amazing kid.

Family Zoo Day

Chris has the day off so we took both of the kids to the zoo. When we first got there there were like a million buses bringing kids, so we went to a park to eat our food first to let the school kids get going. Jaylee liked the swings, she stayed on them pretty much the whole time. After we finished eating we went back to the zoo. There were still a lot of people but most of them had gotten half way threw so we were just behind them. I really enjoyed spending time with my family. Jaylee really enjoyed it too! She can spot the animals and tell us the sounds that they make. So fun! They also had started to build dinosaurs, Jaylee really likes dinosaurs, she would get really excited and say DINOSAUR over and over agian whenever she saw one!

Mothers Day

Today is mothers day! Chris got me a long light blue necklace, its cute. We went to chruch and the young men handed out chocolate bars but I only got a bite before Jaylee stole the rest of it. When church was over we went out to my parents. We wanted to stop by to see Dawna but she was out of town to see her mom. We got my mom a game called Apples to Apples pictures. We also got to talk to Hayden which was super cool! He only has 3 months left, he looks so good and so happy! We got to meet his companion too. Jaylee talked to him for a second, she showed him some of her words, like what a chicken says. I am excited for those two to play together in person. I miss him so much!

Easter

Ones the kids got up we had them find their baskets as soon as they got up. Of course we handed Nixon's his but Jayless was on the side of the couch, she wasn't sure what we wanted but as soon as sh saw her basket she got super excited. It was so cute, Nixon got two pants and a onsie, plus a little foamy basketball. Jaylee got glow sticks, mini m&ms, mini twizzlers, squishy Nemo, and a purple bow. I got Chris the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, a pink bra, kit-kats, and mini eggs. Chris got me (I got myself) a samon scarf, zachary eggs, and gold ear rings.Today is not only easter but it is also general conference. So we chilled at home in our jammies and watched it. After the first season was over.We went to Steve and Junes for an Easter lunch/diner. The food was amazing as always. The older kids hid the eggs for the younger ones to search for. Jaylee was so fun this year because she was old enough to carry her basket and pick up eggs. Chris helped her out, she was so excited and sat down in the middle of the yard and started opening eggs The kids also got something from great grandma Williamson and grandpa Williamson and Jenni. They are sure spoiled. Once we were done talking to everyone we went home and just enjoyed being together.I love my family!

Nixon's Baby Blessing

Today was Nixons baby blessing, were so greatful that we are able to have so many people come that normally may not have made it. My grandparents came home a couple weeks early from there mission and my Uncle Jeff and his family were in town for Sarahs wedding. Our church was at 9 am to so I am glad that everyone was so willing to come. Chris was pretty nervous again but I knew that he was going to do amazing. I was all prepared to share my testimony awhile my family was all there but to my surprise they didn't have fast and testimony meeting. It was because stake conference was next week. However the talks were really good so it worked out. After sacrament we quickly got to our house so we could get the food prepared. We were making waffles, with toppings and orange juice. Our short circuit kept going out so Greg stayed in the basement and kept flipping the switch. June was so helpful and made some batter and helped cook the waffles. We had some tables and chairs out side which was nice because our back yard was looking amazing! It was so nice to see everyone and hang out. I love my little boy so much! I am so glad that I get to be his mom! I love his little spirit and can't wait to get to know him. Love you Nixon!
