Carving Pumpkins

Ranae and Samuel came over to our house to have diner, watch the jazz game, and carve pumpkins. First we ate, Ranae made bread sticks, brocolli soup, and we had left over chili! It was so good! At half time we carved the pumpkins. Jaylee enjoyed pulling the seeds out of the pumpkins but we had to stop her because she started throwing it everywhere. We got our pumpkins carved, and then cleaned Jaylee off. Then we finished up the game and put Jaylee down to bed!

Jazz Scrimmage

Chris wanted to go to the jazz scrimmage. He is so excited for the season to start and the scrimmage is free and you can sit almost wherever. We pretty close, we were on the black comfy fold out seats. Jaylee, like always, wasn't shy at all and hopped into the lap of the lady in front of us. She stayed with her for a few minutes but eventually came back. After we were there for awhile we started getting snacks. Jaylee was in heaven she had cotton candy, lemonade, ext. We got up to let her walk around several times! She was out as soon as we got home!

Barnes Home Owners

Today is Chris's birthday but it is also the day that Samuel and Ranae get to move their things into their new house. We helped last night with loading up the trailer too. So they slept over at our house because all of their stuff is packed away. However they couldn't sleep very well so they got up at 5 and Chris took them to their place to clean it up for inspection. We got there at 10:30 along with my parents to help. They had finished cleaning right when we arrived and the land lord picked up the keys and checked the place out. Then we headed to their new place. It went by pretty fast, we just took all the boxes the down stairs rooms. Their new place reminds me a lot of the yellow house that I lived in when we lived in Sandy growing up. We lived their for 8 years, so many memories at the house. So we talked about all the silly things we did in that house. So fun! I am so happy for them, they have been searching for the right house for a long time. So exciting, congrates you two!

Maci Page Anderson

Today was the day that Maci was born! This is our second niece so far, no nephews yet! Tara went into the hospital yesterday so they could get things going. Tara has had a hard pregnancy, she is only 37 weeks along but because of complications Dr. Young (who has been our Doc. with Jaylee and now) pushed to have her delivered now. So long story short Macie Page Anderson was born on October 14, (the day before Chris and Michelle's birthday) at 12:33 am. She was 7 Lbs 2 Oz and 19 Inches. We went in at 11:30 to visit them and meet her. I was going to take some pictures for them too. We were told that you had to be 14 and older to visit so Chris stayed out with Jaylee but after awhile Austin called Chris and told him that he should come in anway that no body would notice or stop him. Chris still didn't hold her though because he has been feeling a little sick, but he was so glad that he got to see her. Jaylee liked the baby but we had help her because she is still learning to be soft. Maci was super cute, she has so much hair and was surprisingly very chunky. We're just so glad that everything went well and that she wouldn't have to stay in an incupater or anything. Congrates Tara and Austin!

Jazz Scrimmage

Chris and I went to the scrimmage game for the Jazz. It was family night and it was free. We got there early and got free upper bowl tickets for an up coming preseason game. We got pretty close seats to the court. It was pretty cool to be there. Since it was free we decided to splurge a little more on food. We got small pop corn, cotton candy, and lemon aid. Jaylee loved the food, before we got any she climbed in the lap of a lady in front of us to get her food. As time went on jaylee got a little antsy so we walked around the Food court area. She waved at everyone passing by. It was pretty fun and a good family night.  Chris wants to make it a tradition.
