Joshs 19 Birthday

Today is Joshs birthday so were going over to Chriss parents to celebrate. We ate diner that Josh picked out  and Dawna made. It tasted so good, it was like burritos. Then we sang happy birthday and had cake.  We watched lots of videos on youtube and had a good laugh. Chris was talking like Elmo to Aubri and I think that is one of the first times that I have heard her laugh out loud. She is so cute and getting so big. Happy Birthday Josh! We hope that you had a good one.

Deseret Star

My parents took all of us to deseret star. This show was called The Adams Family Home Evening. It was hilarious. We were on the second row of tables and one of the actors came and talked to Chris as part of the show. He came up and said "take this man for example.." Chris didnt know he was talking about him so he started looking around and so the guy then said "Yes you, Im talking about you." So funny. There are four people to a table so Chris and I sat with Hayden and Stockton. Mom, dad, Ranae, and Samuel sat in the table right behind us. I really enjoyed it. Then we went to subway. The second Chris and Stockton were done eating they toke off to go to the Nike outlet in Park City. So I just went shopping with my mom for Shoes. We got our shoes for Ranaes wedding. Which is a week away, holy crap. It was a fun saturday.

Fort

Chris and I are trying to do more creative things for our date night. This week was my turn to do the creative thinking and I decided that we should do something that I used to do as a kid. Chris and I made diner and as it was finishing we built a fort in the living room. When the food was done we ate our diner in the fort. Then we layed in our fort and watched a movie.After the movie was over we played a get to know you game. I had a list of questions. Simple things like "whose your favorite actor, if you had a super power what would it be, whats your favorite disney movie".... things like that. If you got it wrong you had to take something off. It was a great date.

Bachelorette Party

I am hosting my sisters bachelorette party. Awhile we waited for people show up we played a game. I put a paper with a male actors name on it and taped it to peoples backs and they had to find out who it was by asking yes or no questions. By the time the game finished almost everyone was there. So then we played a kiss the hunk. I had cut out lips that everyone wrote their name on. I would blind fold them and have them try to kiss the guy were it counts. Closest two people got a big hunk bar. Then Ranae got to open her presents. Ranae knew what was coming but I would also say she had no idea what was coming at the same time. It was fun to see her reaction. When presents were finished I decided to put Ranae to the test. I had asked Samuel questions about Ranae and himself. She had to answer the questions and if either of them got it wrong Ranae had to put a marshmellow in her mouth. I had 65 questions and Ranae answered 35 right so I would say it was good considering she got more than half. I had one last game planned. It was called the drinking game from what we used to play in HS but this time it was mixed between that and have you ever. Ranae would draw a paper out of a bowl and read it. Each one was "have you ever......?" If you had you would have to take a drink. The last person to go to the bathroom by the end of the night was the winner. When we finished drinking we watched a movie and cheered as people got up to go to the bathroom. We watched Despicable Me, and by the end Alyssa Witham was the winner. Everyone went home but Alyssa Witham and Chelsee Christensen. We up talking till like three and Nae spent the night.

4th of July

We went up to "make out point" to watch the fireworks. It was cool because up there you can see from Provo to Saratoga Springs. We saw all the fireworks going off. We also had a good view of the Stadium of Fire. We got up there at about 7 but it didnt get dark until 9 so we brought games up to play. It was us, the Nelsons, and the Hansens. We played catch phrase, girls vs boys. Ill give it to the boys they had us beat most of the time, but on our defense we always seemed to get it when it was right about to buzz. I sat on Chriss lap when the fireworks started going off. When the Stadium of Fire started it was so cool. All of a sudden they stopped so half the people got up and left because David started cheering like it was over. It was pretty funny. I love my friends. What a wonderful night it was.

Freedom of America

Kassi and Josh invited us to go with them to the Freedom of America. It was fun because it was a fancy diner. We got all dressed up to go, I liked it because its not something we get to do a lot. First we ate a salad, then they brought out the main meal. It was steak and salmon. I was so happy because they had dessert. It was strawberry filed cake. Chris said he didnt want any so I told him to get one anyway and I would eat it, so I got two cakes. When we finished eating they gave out 4 awards to people who contributed to the freedom of America. It was cool to hear their stories. When the show was over we decided to stop by iceberg. I didnt get anything but surprisingly Chris got a shake. It was a good night.

June 2012

Camping

Chris and I went camping today with some of our couple friends. There was the Millers, the Downings, the Neilsons, and the soon to be Barnes. My sister and Samuel are engaged. So we planned on going up to Payson Canyon but all the spots were taken we didnt know what else to do so we just kept going up until we came out the other side in Nephi. We talked to the Millers, who were supposed to met us up there later. We decided that we would take a break and eat and they would find us a camp spot in Santaquin. We ate hamburgers at the park and feed the seagull that Samuel named. When we finally arrived we set up our tents. Tyler made a fire and by then it was dark so we all sat around the fire and made smores. When we finished up we all got ready for bed. Everyone got into our tent to talk except the Millers. They went to their tent. We talked for awhile. Samuel slept on a cot outside and Ranae slept in the tent with us. Not going to lie the night was a little ruff.
In the morning Chade started making his famous breakfest, one pot. When Chris and I got up we started wrestling. We almost took of Ranaes head a few times but Samuel came in and so she was to distracted to notice. As soon as breakfast was about done we got out and sat around the fire. Chris toasted the english muffins. Breakfast was fantastic. When we finished breakfast we cleaned everything up and got ready to go. We decided to go on a small hike to see a waterfall. When we got there there were a lot of people but we finally got our picture by it and headed back. This is the first time we have camped together. I loved it.
